I did Nohr my first playthrough, felt it made more sense story-wise since Corrin barely knew any of the Hoshidans.
The fact that it's eventually revealed that the Hoshidans aren't even your real family is one of the stupidest plot "twists" ever.
I fucking hates Fates' story.

Nohr, who cares that they're not your blood siblings. It's the people who you grew up with and who raised you. Every memory you have involved these people and sure your "dad" is a dickhead but your siblings are still the people you know and love. Corrin's mom was a Vallite princess and Azura's aunt, all 4 of them fled before Anankos blow their homeland up. Azura and her mother ran to Nohr, and Corrin and their mother fled to Hoshido. Why they went to different countries I don't know, but then Anankos and Valla are so retarded as far as plot points go they might as well be fanfiction anyway.
