I will never understand why that third one is so unsettling
this one time i was playing a ps2 game, i dont remmeber which one, when i died the screen went black and there was this creepy looking guy on the screen, then the game loaded to the last checkpoint

kek was this taken after entering the foggy weather cheat? I know the foggy weather from San Fierro would sometimes happen in the desert though

San Andreas was too real in some aspects.
I wish modern gta had the same feeling of mystery and eeriness, gta v map was so boring in this aspect.
Nah there's bias toward different weather conditions depending on where you are in the state, like sandstorms obviously only happening in the desert and cloudy days being most common in Fierro
I think part of the problem is how quickly information spreads these days. Fuck everything about V was already uncovered and all over the internet before it even came out due to it leaking. Last game I played that had that element of mystery and everyone getting together to solve all its secrets was Dark Souls.
Yeah video game secrets are dead. The only way to avoid having any hidden content spoiled now is to avoid the internet entirely.
