One time I was connected to a server that was stuck on Nightfall, a few mins in I started a small Heavy fight club where people got in a circle and watched two Heavys fight
Another time there were blatant aimbotting snipers in Kong King and when they finally left everyone started dancing on the objective while somebody started blasting Mass Destruction from Persona 3

God damn this game has had such an impact on my life. There are people I met in this game that I STILL talk to on a daily basis all these years later. Hell, the people I've met in this game alone have been the most helpful people in finding actual worth in my own image and realizing important shit, like the fact that I'm actually not a pariah and I'm kind of cute. The game has set such a high bar that it's impossible to play other games without comparing others to it.

So it kills me inside when I see hackers and bots like [valve]niggerkiller working to ruin games with their bullshit. It also hurts to see matchmaking ruining community servers.

Ocarina of Time is hardly old. Just released on the 3DS a few years ago

Pokemon Red also had a remake. And It's hardly "beloved". Mostly by millenials and older people that grew up during Pokemania. So basically two beloved games that younger people pretend to have played.
