sekiro

sekiro

ghosts of hiroshima or whatever its called

those are samurai games, not ninjas you retards

sekiro is pretty obviously a ninja

Sekiro's gameplay puts emphasis on action rather than stealth, I wouldn't call it a Ninja game

>Ninja Gaiden's gameplay puts emphasis on action rather than stealth, I wouldn't call it a Ninja game

yes

You don't need to hide when you literally kill every enemy that sees you.

Exactly, what's your point?

>Shinobido
Fuck that was an amazing game. I'm downloading it right now and can't wait to pick up where I was. Hard to believe that was over 14 years ago since I last played.

I know, right?
I haven't found any games like that since the PS2 era.

It's funny, I avoided that game for the longest time because of a Playstation magazine I used to always read said it was shit and described it as the same copy pasted missions with canned animations over and over again.
Then I played it and that experience became my first redpill on how bad game journos are. I think I still have that issue.

The atmosphere and music are what makes it so good

It even has factions, how many modern games even bother with such mechanics

Stealth games in general have fallen off the face of the earth
There's only what, Hitman now?

Can't you learn secret ancient ninja magic in Nioh 2? They saw me through a lot of bullshit in 1.

MGSV is the last 'good' stealth game I've played

Could anyone post games where you play as a female ninja? I know of Nightshade, red ninja and the tenchu games.

Senran Kagura

You need to play more games. There are plenty.

Izuna legend of the unemployed ninja series

Well there's The Last of Us 2 which looks like will be even more stealth based than the first one due to the bigger areas.

Ninja games tend to be very difficult for some reason.
MG Rising, Ninja Gaiden and Onimusha are too hard for casuals so the trend slowly died because they didn't make them accessible to everyone

Dev costs are too high for medium scale games to be viable anymore

Ninja Warriors, Shadow of the Ninja, Legend of Kage 2, though in all cases you have the option of playing as kunoichi instead of them being the sole main character.

You are extremely ignorant and retarded as well as objectively wrong.

The strict distintion between samurai and ninja is just a modern myth.

You don't know jackshit about ninja, Sekiro was a tale of a ninja. Ninja were "anything goes" types of warriors that engaged in everything from simple spying through eavesdropping as a tea server, to poisoning, to sleeping with someone to kill them when they were vulnerable to all out full-scale war.

Ninja were not the types to only creep about, the creeping about came about because they were willing to do anything to complete their objective and that was one of the dishonorable methods that some would eschew.

hardly a stealth game, closer to Death Stranding than anything.
