Meteora was the first CD I ever bought. I remember my mom taking me to Hastings to buy it. I was 11 years old, man I still remember the trip and everything. I listened to nothing but LP for a good 3-4 years. Still have a lot of their songs on my playlist and I'm 27 now.
I hate how the band became a depression/emo meme for people that listen to them. Fuck zoomers.

Yeah everyone knows that A Thousand Suns is the most based album
Logan Johnson
one thing, i dont know why it doesn't even have 2TB hard drive keep that in mind ps5s designed is for gays who do crime
Just because Living Things and One More Light were shit doesn't detract from A Thousand Sun's quality. Hunting Party was alright
Isaac Howard
a great album, reanimation underrated classic tho

Linkin Park was signed and marketed for the sole purpose of cashing in on the rap-rock movement Limp Bizkit had revived. The high pitched tone of their voices meant it could crossover to the same kids that were obsessed with the pop punk movement that Blink 182 was leading. No one under the age of 34 likes Linkin Park because we were all hyper aware of the marketing tactics they were using and that the target was specifically the middle school demographic that had been largely ignored for a long time. NO ONE that likes was older than 14 when Linkin Park debuted. You were never witnessing a band rise through adversity to make a name for themselves. It was a long and massive targeted ad campaign concocted by music industry executives to exploit children that were reaching puberty with no outlet for their angst. LOL YOU GOT PLAYED SON
I jumped ship after trying to love Minutes to Midnight for several months. Now 13 years sober
Ian Martin
When I was in the Navy we had a talent show underway and this fat bald guy who cried alot sang in the end with minimal background music, legit screaming parts. It was pretty cringe
Benjamin Price
I never paid for an LP album so fuck your theory.
Hudson Collins
I get not loving the entire Minutes to Midnight album but at least tell me you liked Given Up, No More Sorrow and Bleed it out.
Eli Watson
Stay mad. Maybe you won’t let your kids get played the same way.
Xavier Torres
i wasnt even alive when hybrid theory came out lmao
I have no idea what you're talking about because my, then, 16 year old ass already stopped giving a fuck about LP when they released the Hybrid remix album and, given the style of shiodas solo project, knew this band wasn't making music for me anymore. Jumped ship to Dark Tranquility and Amon Amarth and that's that.
They were my "favorites" on the album, but they felt like unfinished afterthoughts. If I wanted to listen to the real thing, I'd just put in Hybrid Theory, Reanimation, Meteora, or their EP instead
