Ok guys we need a boss

>ok guys we need a boss
>let's give it a grab attack that one shots the player
>and lets make it poison the player if he gets close
>and lets give it a loose cloth piece to make its silhouette as hard to see as possible so the player cant tell what attack is coming
>and lets making healing and parrying items finite
bravo miyazaki.

Literally who? Looks early game.

>let's also make it constantly break the lock on system

I found this boss harder than Gascoigne and Amelia when I first played this game, I didn't know you could just strafe left around it and literally never get hit

Also let's make it miss all its attacks if the player slightly walks to the left

what? one of its deadliest attack strings starts with a right hand swipe. if you strafe left you'll get caught in it

>Let's make it retard proof
Hey, it worked.

The Blood Starved Beast.

Learn to fucking parry dude and stop hoarding items like an OCD retard and use a poison debuff, it's a normal enemy later in the game

Also lets make it string long ass combo swipes so you can parry it easily

Literally dodge to its sides and it will never hit you.

>it's a normal enemy later in the game
It appears in one area in the DLC as far as I can recall, nothing else.

Claims another

Dodge under that right hand swipe, and then you can pummel it. It won't reorient itself. Also, don't let the slow poison status make you feel pressured, use antidotes as necessary and you shouldn't have too many problems.

Wait what it has a human face? I thought it was a gross flabby dog or something

Literally just move right after getting close, its just like the basic wolf mob, that boss is easily beatable without getting hit.

the thing is that BSB's right claw swipe is really one of its more telegraphed moves. it'll raise that arm pretty early, enough time to really know that you should be dashing through it. otherwise, sticking to its left side (preferably at the hip, behind the arm) makes it hard to get hit at all

>Getting filtered by the easiest boss of the game

Bullshit boss

Third boss in the game and this nigga complaining? I'm currently fighting Laurence NG+ SOLO. People don't know what hard is.

Nah, the Witch of Hemwick with 0 insight's probably the easiest.

you literally don't have to fight it. git fucking gud.

Oh goodness! But his music's great, at least.

Nobody'll ever be impressed by you playing Bloodborne. Play a real hard game.

>Witch of Hemwick with 0 insight
You didn't eve need to out yourself as a guidefag. It's still a very easy fight with insight.

Enttire game should be done solo and every actual player who played the game at release played dlc at at least +3 so literally fuck off with your gatekeeping when youre fucking trash bro and just bragged about not summoning on ng+1 which is literally easier than ng

I mean, we all find different things difficult and/or challenging. I hope that beats Laurence, and that the OP beats the Blood Starved Beast, because feeling like you triumphed over adversity is a wonderful feeling indeed!

It's funny that Father Gascoigne practically handed me my prostate, but I was able to beat this guy on my first try

>dodge to his right: the boss

and lets make it so if the player dashes behind it and cant do anything

missed that bit

Well, yeah, but I thought it was a cool trick. She's not difficult, but it's pretty interesting to be able to take away a boss's ability to attack like that.

I steamrolled this nigga on my first try and didnt even think about him again. Really the whole game was a cakewalk until wet nurse and only the part with the fog

You can toss the jugs with the blood in it to distract it if for some reason you just can’t move to the left....

>Get to NG+
>Realize it has high arcane defense
>Current build is Holy Moonlight sword and Kos Parasite

Attached: 1591374012076.png (353x777, 532.33K)

Well, I didn't have much choice desu. The game sent me to NG+ without warning after I beat Gehrman. Old Hunter's was MUCH harder in NG+. Ludwig and Maria are an absolute fucking nightmare; Maria especially. Living Failures are neither here nor there. Laurence and rphan are both rock solid.

I just set this dude on fire repeatedly and he died. pretty easy

git gud homo

>let's get filtered by a game that has been beaten and speedran by hundreds of thousands of people just because you are a pleb and suck at the genre

It’s not nice to give people bad advice

i first tried gascoigne but was stuck on BSB for some time.
Logarius was the hardest boss in the game for me.

>when you realize that's his skin and that he has been flayed
I also remember the first time I realized the crucified beast in the church right before BSB is another BSB.

This fucker is the easiest bastard to parry in the entire series my dude

Not that guy but dodging to left or right is always a good idea with big bosses. Just get behind them and whack away while they mindlessly attack thin air. It never fails.

Parrying doesn't make any sense in Bloodborne so I never tried it

Sounds like a fun challenge.

true

NG+ Laurence is the only boss I summoned for, I don't feel bad it was fucking ridiculous in second phase.

The only issue I have with the bsb is that all his flapping bits tank the fps and make it hard to look at him.
Otherwise he's ez pz.

You forgot.

>on the DLC, let's put it as a regular monster for the Hunter to kill
>inside a cave with literally zero light, you can only see its eyes glow
>on the same cave we put the NPC with the Gatling gun and a bunch of other bullshit monsters

Attached: 1573765691173.png (450x599, 292.01K)

You want a bullshit boss? Go fight Ebrietas, have fun with that zero windup charge and tentacle hitbox.

Are you fucking high? You can parry most enemies EASILY with just a regular pistol and visceral attacks do so much damage it isn't even funny. It's too bad you can't do it with some of the harder bosses in the game.

You’re dumb.

From moving away from blocking in favor of more aggressive and reactive action was a great idea

>Parrying doesn't make any sense
literally just shoot the fucker

Attached: 1419886644794.png (350x362, 49.98K)

you can parry from further distances due to bullet speed so it can be a very safe option.

I'm not saying it doesn't make sense TO do it.

What I mean is, normally parrying is when you intercept an attack at the exact moment it hits. The timing for when you're supposed to do this is obvious. In Bloodborne you parry by shooting a gun. Shooting a gun, to me, has nothing to do with their attack animation. Shooting should always have the same effect, so the window for parrying isn't as obvious.

To the left to the left.
To the left.
Mmmmmm
To the left.
To the left.

so you dislike the animation and looks of the bullet parrying rather than the mechanic

oh so you're retarded, gottcha

Its just like normal parrying, except with a gun.

Think of it this way: a fundamental aspect of fighting is that people are at their most vulnerable when they are in mid swing, it's why most fighting styles teach you to attack and defend at the same time
