i finally caved bros. what are some good vr games besides Alyx?
>inb4 vr is a meme
I finally caved bros. what are some good vr games besides Alyx?
HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
VR is a TERRIBLE meme.
/vrg/ over at /vg/, you'll just get poorfags crying on here.
VRchat if you can model, make friends with an egirl, or don't like trannies.
Vader Immortal is lame self-insert fanfiction but scratches the lightsaber itch. Blade and Sorcery is better.
EmuVR is a retroarch frontend that lets you play in a 90s kid's bedroom and use the controllers as light guns.
Budget Cuts is cute.
Superhot VR is basically the definitive version of the game.
Beat Saber obviously.
Try to get games on Steam instead of the Oculus store, since that way if you leave the Oculus ecosystem you still have most of your games.
VR Museum of Fine Art is a comfy little project.
VRchat if you don't like trannies?
It seems like a tranny paradise...
>/vrg/
Terrible thread, it's all vrchat erpers.
No one actually talks about vr games there.
tranny discord cultist detected, begone filth
Oh, sorry, I meant to say "don't mind." I don't actually know how lousy they are with trannies but I can see them falling for a comfy setting where everyone's a cute anime girl.
Beat Saber, Pavlov, Onward, Asgards Wrath, blade and sorcery.
If you want to test the waters, then i believe that the oculus come with some free games, so you've got that to start with.
go away jelly
1st post sums it up, hook line and sinker.
Meanwhile you're all crying about the ps5 price.
>EmuVR is a retroarch frontend that lets you play in a 90s kid's bedroom and use the controllers as light guns.
It should have ambient audio of your parents fighting.
>Meanwhile you're all crying about the ps5 price.
what?
Hotdogs Horseshoes and Hand Grenades.
That's about it really.

Ya fucked up and didnt buy PSVR. The only one with actual games
>1080p res
>60hz
lol
There's only two games on PSVR that aren't on PC.
Try 120hz retard
how consistently does it hit that framerate though user
This, the only game I feel like I'm missing out on with PSVR are Blood and Truth and Astro Bot Rescue Mission, the amount of VR ports and mods on PC for existing games more than makes up for those 2 games I'm lacking
VRChat is alright. Just make sure you have the power to run it, its a fucking optimized piece of shit due to all of the assholes on there who have no clue how to optimize their avatar.
SuperhotVR is really fun
Hotdogs Horseshoes and Hand Grenades is gun porn
Pavlov is a good time.
Jet Island is an underrated gem. I fucking love Jet Island.
Climbey is fucking great
Sairento is really fucking cool
best vr game is BONEWORKS. It's everything VR should be for now on. Everything Stress Level Zero makes is good shit. Make sure you have enough power to run it though.
Blood and Truth was enjoyable but there are more than enough experiences that are better on PC. Astro Bot is the only killer game that I miss having on PC. That shit was a fucking blast.
You mean interpolated 60hz or 90hz on a good day?
Job Simulator is fun but not worth the price, you'll beat it in a day. But it on sale or pirate it. It's sequel, Vacation Simulator actually is worth the price and has alot more to do than Job Simulator. It also feels more like a game while JS felt like a Tech Demo.
Get VR Kanojo
It would be nice to have a VR headset should a second COVID lockdown happens and the best way to experience going on a trip will be through VR.

I have a Rift S as well OP, and the 3 games that made the system worth it for me (besides HL:A) were The Forest VR, Crisis VRigade, and more than any of these, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners
Seriously that game is almost perfect to me and utilizes VR so perfectly.
The Forest took a lot of bullshitting with the controls to get working in a normal way, but it's so worth it. Crisis VRigade is just Time Crisis VR with a good amount of levels and challenge.
Beat Saber, Pavlov, Boneworks, Alyx.
I'm about to get shitstormed
Buy a flight controller and play Elite Dangerous. It's super immersive and you can also install voice commands, I recommend watching a review from the youtuber UpIsNotJump, he made 2 actually. And now thw part that'll get me linched: Skyrim vr, although techically not good, is actually pretty fun. Swinging swords, shooting arrows and casting spells has never been so fun
not OP but i would want to play this game but zombies are fucking freaky in VR. especially when you hear the church bells and a giant horde is incoming
VRchat is pure autism. These people literally can't hold a conversation without dead air or being awkward. Not to mention only complete social fuck ups that actually role play
I might only pick up a PS5 if they have PSVR 2. I just barely touch my consoles these days, if they can give me a proper VR experience in my living room I might actually consider picking one up, but honestly I'd rather just get another mid range PC and VR headset instead.
DO NOT go to /vrg/ OP, do not, it's a fucking trap, they don't discuss anything other than VRChat and I know Zig Forums likes to take the piss about tranny drama a lot but there is GENUINE tranny drama and bullshit there, you will hate that place almost instantly I can guarantee it.
If the patents and rumors are true, the PSVR2 will be a lot better than the PSVR with inside out tracking and possible finger tracking.
However, if VR is the main attraction I would just invest in the PC. The freedom of VR on PC with customisation, mods and exclusive games is far greater than the PS.
I loved my PSVR but PC is leaps and bounds above it.
Get The Talos Principle and drive yourself insane trying to solve puzzles in VR.
