Blue Glue Residue II

I honestly can't.

I can't. I'm replaying RDR2 since I rushed my first playthrough and I'm taking the open-world in and it's phenomenal. I'm so glad this game exists.

Stillwater, SR2

Bully

they need to make another horror game

there isn't one

I literally can't. Maybe BOTW as a close second but that's more in a mythopoetic sort of way.

>Maybe BOTW as a close second
yes
I too love copy pasted shrines and copy pasted moblin camps
very good open world

manhunt was awesome. i loved the first one so much, i need to play the second but its banned in my country (can't find it in the ps store).

Half of RDR2’s map is useless

Zelda 1

true, but at least it looks good

It's a good open world, but there's nothing to really do in it. Plus the gameplay is shit

Honestly, does anyone think Cyberpunk could match or better this?

RDR2 has ruined all RPG open worlds for more right now. It's just so damn good, there is so much to do in SP. It's not perfect by any means but holy fuck. It's such a good mixture of interactability, genuine exploration, and beauty.

RDR2 kind of made me realize it's pretty much impossible to make a modern/future day open world that's good, I just don't think there could be enough systems that make roaming around the world and interacting with it fun, nothing that makes exploring as rewarding.

Is it worth buying for the single player? Don't care about online.

Yes, it's a great game and I've never touched the online

GTA V online

How much longer bros...?

i didn't play the online, i enjoyed the single player and story. i played it once and thats it. i think its worth it if you don't have anything else to play.

The online in this game is fucked
>players can just randomly kill you
>game respawns you close to them
>game lets you and the other player kill each other as many times as you want
>the only way it ends is if one player's autism is greater than the other causing the rival player to leave the game

Single player is better than online but online is good for creating your own OC cowboy + it has more customization options than single player because the devs are too retarded to transfer the online cosmetics to single player. Also Online is really only fun if ur playing with other people

yes

>Maybe BOTW as a close second
kek

subnautica
GTASA
Morrowind
Gun

thats four right off the top of my head. I like RDR2 but there isnt enough to do out in the open world. a few small pit stops here and there (save a guy from a snakebite for the fifth time) and like three treasure maps which dont lead to anything unique or interesting.

this is ignoring gameplay issues like your gun inventory being a pain in the ass to manage

Gothic II

poor agnes

RDR2 has potential for a godly horror themed expansion. Hunting panthers down south while a storm rages and you can hear a lone house creaking is top tier atmosphere.

there's fuck all to do in SA too

We need a War of the Worlds DLC

the whispering forest made me NOPE hard

>there's fuck all to do in SA too
true but thats made up for with a huge variety of vehicles for you to dick around in. RDR2 doesnt have that and for some dumb reason a lot of features are locked behind chapters that should be available as soon as CH2 starts. For instance you cant interact with horse stables until CH3 then none of them sell any of the interesting/unique horses until CH6. I am 130 hours in at CH3 with tens of thousands of dollars I cant use on anything because snake bite boy bought out all the guns for me and I cant buy any cool horses

Are you going for gold to every mission?
The good combination of a open-world, not too big and with stuff to do.

Skyrim

The "enemies" that appear in RDR2 overworld are copy pasted as well, just bunch of animals and people that act the same. Also it's a very scripted game, even the open world events are scripted and get old very quickly.

>Are you going for gold to every mission?
eventually I will. I'm taking my sweet time with this playthrough. I want to 100% it and I expect that I'll have it done before the end of the year at my pace.I don't play games like I used too.

>Also it's a very scripted game, even the open world events are scripted and get old very quickly.
this

SA is good but there isn't much reason to explore and not much you can do. Exploring can show some cool stuff but RDR2 is just bigger with more stuff to do and way more things to explore with top notch graphics that make exploring some places worth it for the view alone

you can 100% ignore online and still feel like it was well worth your purchase. you can tell online was made by a smaller group that the single player team ignored entirely.

It's boring asf and a massive grind

I can't fucking complete at 100% the mission when arthur and micah do a robbery near valentine.
