TLOU2 Reviewing Poorly

Behold, even the Normie Shills don't like it:
polygon.com/reviews/2020/6/12/21288535/the-last-of-us-part-2-review-ps4-naughty-dog-ellie-joel-violence

>The sequel feels like a time capsule from 2013, the year the first game was released in real life and the year of the fictional in-game zombie outbreak. The Last of Us Part 2 seems doomed to walk in a well-worn circle, unable to break out of the ever-thickening carapace forming along its skin, just like the victims of the Cordyceps fungus that you fight throughout the game.

>That is the game’s central problem, and what makes so much of it such a challenge to get through: This is a story about characters who seem unable to learn or grow, and more specifically, unable to consider the humanity of the people they kill. If you already think violence isn’t the answer to many of the world’s problems, the repeated lesson that killing is bad makes the game almost maddening.

the graphics and level design are all majorly better
but nothing about the gameplay has changed, the "jump button" is useless, combat has not improved nor has stealth
the puzzles are even more absent than the first
the characters are so stupid they'd even be out of place on The Walking Dead, which hurts the writing
The core themes are all over the place
Plot in major need of trimming

THE RIDE IS STARTING

It's going to be the highest rated game on metacritic this year a no amount of shitposting will change that.

>The Last of Us Part 2 gives us a grizzled-beyond-her-years white teen lesbian in the lead role, which is a refreshing change, but the conceit remains the same. Ellie can finally make her own decisions, but just like her dear old surrogate dad, she has a propensity for thinking in the short term and prioritizing her own more animalistic needs for revenge and relief from pain, no matter the human cost. And she’ll be dragging the player along with her, because you have no damn choice but to get homicidal, no matter how much the game wags its finger in your face saying how bad you’re being.
>The game’s new heroine may give the impression of some larger progressive message, but it’s just a way to change the instruments, if you will. The song itself remains the same.

EVEN THE WOKE ARE WAKING UP

Didn't Polygon complain about the violence in DOOM?
Why would you even link to these faggots for a legitimate opinion?

It has a 96 on Metacritic right now and it's likely going up to 97, I don't care for this game but this is just delusional shitposting at this point.

they aren't, but they're also the target audience for this drivel, so for them to bite the hand that feeds is surprising

>polygon is now legitimate

It is Spec Ops all over again
>Game forces you to be a piece of shit
>Cutscene:WOOOOOW, why are you such a piece of shit >:(

What does this mean OP?

>Zig Forums is so desperate to hate this game that they're relying on Polygon reviews
Its over, fags. Its all over.

They support the sentiment I hold so they're based

Spec Ops was great and its been hilarious seeing Zig Forumsirgins get increasingly assblasted at it over the years. You really missed out on its cultural relevance.

Anyone who didn't expect most game reviewers to fellate this regardless of what its quality actually ends up being is a fool.

DELETE THIS

>JIDF out to support Druckman already

When you have to rely on metacritic user reviews for a videogame, its all over. There's no chance this flops.

>DEDICATED
>JUMP
>BUTTON

>muh sales

I can’t believe I deluded myself into thinking people who don’t want to play as a tranny playing some part of a cliche revenge cycle arc were the majority. We’re just a vocal minority. It’s over, they won. The trannies won. The LBGTQ members won. The media which supports them so much won.

That just makes it sound based if Polygon thinks she ain't acting lesbian enough

>sales mean something is good
>high reviews mean something is good
There's such a thing as inertia. A good bit of money, marketing (and if you think that "leak" was anything but marketing), and media presence as well as nostalgia and the march of time. This game was always going to succeed financially yes, but so did the Star Wars prequels.

People will support these games literally just to support a lesbian protag, or to 'get back' at places like Zig Forums that support it.

Well you were the fags claiming this was going to be the flop of the century for weeks and weeks, what happened?

that is actually what they're mad about, that she's not any different from Joel, almost as if making her a lesbian protag was pointless virtue signalling

I think you guys need some reading comprehension. They're saying she's homicidal like Joel, not that she's not a big enough dyke.

This is just Last Jedi but for videogames.

no one ever claimed it was going to flop, just that it was going to be shit. Stop inventing false narratives

So how is your review site doing, user? Any increase in traffic?

seethe

The leak hurt the game. No way in hell was it intentional.

>no one ever claimed it was going to flop
The cope has begun

>''''''video game reviewers'''' complaining about level of violence
>'we're better than this'

Man, what the fuck happened to these sorry-ass sacks of shit. They are pretending like they are in college-tier philosophy class. Pathetic.

Sounds like Spec Ops.
> coming on military camp
> "we can't win, time to shell them"
> decide to keep shooting and try
> game cannot proceed until you bombing them
> "WOW you bombed civilians, bet you feel bad for making that decision!"

>normie
Fuck off, tourist faggot.

they're literally rewriting their memory as we post its so embarrassing

>no one ever claimed it was going to flop
>no one ever claimed it was going to flop
