Seriously, is there even a game aspect to this “videogame”? At a certain point, I don’t understand why you’d go through the hassle of bolting on all the extra shit that comes with game dev when you can just make a cartoon or animation that much more effectively lets you present the vision you are trying to convey. Gone Home, Life is Strange, and many more movie games all don’t benefit at all from the actual format of a being a videogame at all.

To play devil's avocado for a moment you wouldn't be able to replicate the environment storytelling present in those moviegames if they weren't video games

So what is this game? Is it a VN? A dating sim? A puzzle game? That trailer had literally zero modicum of gameplay in it. My personal issue with the trailer was that it looks like a TV show. I'm not interested in watching a cartoon when the entire focus is video game trailers. The Zig Forums schizos whose brain maggots have convinced them of their Tranny World Order are only validated in this regard because if you are going to show us something, have your fluffy/emotional highschool romanticism plot with some kind of hard romance subplot, you need to give us something to actually follow. The trailer has a lot of artistic elements to it, but what the fuck is this game actually going to be about? Not a single bit of promotional material suggests anything about how the game functions.

Not even comparable. As much as YIIK is easy to dump on for being an absolute embarrassment of a game, this one at least has a sufficiently visually acceptable trailer going on for it. That's already better than any visual found in YIIK's entire history. This game could be cancelled and it'd already be less offensive than YIIK.
