I want you guys to think about why this happened.

Do you think that this happened because black people asked for it? No, black people barely even play MTG. I mean sure, some do, but it's way more of a white hobby than a black hobby. So who did they feel under pressure from to do this?

There's two possibilities.

1. Some people, probably white, who 'enjoy' MTG but hate the fanbase because of edgy jokes, made their way into the company and have been pushing for this for years already and saw this as the perfect opportunity to get their way

2. Maybe...it was no pressure. Maybe they're doing it because they know this move will create a firestorm of controversy in itself, it will define two sides, SJWs who defend it and anti-SJWs who hate it....and they are banking on the idea that they can do this, not lose the people already invested in the game, and draw in a bunch of SJW customers.

Building societies that everyone else wants to live in, but not being able to keep them from coming to.
