Maybe in his eyes but I've lived and worked in 3 different countries while he has never moved out of his village/town that have 2000 residents and he have only worked at one company for 40 years straight.

My dad was a homeless loser. He used to live with family but as I understand it they had an altercation and he wasn’t allowed over there again. I feel like his temper got the better of him. He wasn’t a very smart man either. For a lot of my adolescence he either didn’t have a job or lied about not having one to avoid paying child support and I think he avoided paying taxes as well. He chainsmoked a lot which really gave me a love for the smell of burning cigarettes. I felt bad for him but there wasn’t much I could really do. He was pretty tech illiterate so anything I ever played on when I took the 13-hour trip over was a “Nintendo”. I wish I had the same childhood as some of you anons did.

I know nothing about this game. This is the only game he has ever played, and he probably has like 7k hours on it.

My dad is dead.

He used to play on MSN gaming zone when I was young. Gifted him the games on steam and he plays nearly every day. All he does is play against bots as each civ. He is retired and seems pretty comfy. I'm happy for him.

In fact, when I was 12 yo or something playing TF2 back in 2011 he came up to me and said I’m just wasting time and if I want to shoot guns I should enlist and get a real one.
Never played any vidya in his presence ever again.
