When I played that quest I could only think holy shit this is a lot more creative than kill five rats and come back

>Zig Forums recommends you a game older than you are
>you don't like it

don't worry you have quests about killing rats too

That was Borderlands 2 and Fallout 3 for me. What a bunch of shitty games

I'm probably older than you are but that's besides the point, if a game is shit it's shit.

Was this your first RPG? How can anyone seriously be impressed by that, thinking it's somehow creative?

behead those who insult morrowind

How many times are you going to make this thread you fucking schizo?

That game, it’s horrid af.

Why do bathesdadrones willingly eat shit?

nigga is in the dagoth ur thread also, kid is a fucking loser.

If this was my first RPG then I would not be familiar with typical "kill x number of enemies" sidequests, use your head. Besides, will I appear cooler on the internet if I say I wasn't impressed?

Borderlands 2 is the quintessential "fun with friends" experience where the game is engaging enough to give you sometin to so while low effort enough for you to be able to have a conversation over skype.
Fallout 3 is just mediocre and dull, the "I refuse to play games older than a year" genre.

that'd be Pathologic 2

This is like going to mcdonalds, ordering a cheeseburger and going "HOLY SHIT this is a lot more creative than a ham sandwich!"

>food analogy

I don't know of a single rpg that consists only of these types of quests, to the point where you'd find THAT creative.
Maybe if you only played freeware browser games up to that point or something.

ur analogy is dog shit.

90% sidequests in morrowind are just "go kill that dude"

>Doing a hand to hand unarmored build
>can stun lock a darkbrotherhood assassin and solo humanoids with ease
>takes forever to down an animal due to their huge stamina pool

anyone know any mods that can help with this? I got my hand to hand to nearly 100 but it kinda drags out with these fights when trying to do a hand to hand build.

It's a perfectly fine analogy but you retards can only communicate with memes and buzzwords.

WoW

I'd hardly call that an rpg

morrowind has a better world and writing but oblivion has better quests

Dark souls, this shit isn't remotely as fun as you faggots told me, overrated af

you know quests fall under "writing" right?
what you meant to say was worldbuilding

eating is not a comparable experience to going on quests in an rpg. nobody is eating a burger to be entertained

>see enemy attacks
>roll
>repeat
with the occasional bullshit death because of bad hitboxes or an enemy spawning behind you, that's all there is to it. trash.

>nobody is eating a burger to be entertained
>he doesn't know

This thing. Played the first couple of days a long time ago then realised that it's just glorified work

>Zig Forums recommends you a game
>do independent research to make sure it's not shit
>it's not
>have fun with it
Get on my level nerd

the point is that anything can be made to look "a lot more creative" when compared to the absolute bottom of the barrel a genre has to offer. But that doesn't mean it's actually in any way impressive.

Fair enough. To me the "fun with friends" reason is pretty null because I'd much rather do other stuff with friends like go to the gym or play a different game.

Fallout 3 was recommended to me as a game that was a better RPG with a better story than New Vegas. The only thing I could really remember from it was the simulated town quest thing and everything else is a boring blur. Plus the game glitched out on me before the final mission with Liberty Prime so I stopped playing there.
