Power of the ps5

this console is not even out yet and is already struggling with fps, imagine how it will run games in like 3 years or so

ps2 had a 1080p game at the end of it's cycle

I have a RTX 2080 and my PC stuggles with stable framerates as soon as I try to play in 4k. The resolution is fucking trash and trying to build a fucking box to target that resolution is retarded.

>Still cant run 1080p 60fps stable
Holy fuck

Monster Hunter: World already did this

So like a PC then? Because thats literally one of the most basic features of PCs: settings that let you prioritise visuals or fps.

If anything its a good sign that devs dont necessary dump games down just to squeeze another 5fps out of it

Nioh as well.

I think you've missed the point, user

sure you have post speccs

I think you're forgetting that PCs have the options of having visuals AND frame rate.

Graphicschad here.

how does your PC struggle with 4k?

By nature of 4k being a fucking shit resolution.

nah something is wrong you should have no prolems run any game in 4k with max settings with 60fps even 120fps.

grafix niggers should neck themselves; games have looked fine since the ps3 era

Nigger, what the fuck are you smoking. Here is a benchmark for GTA 5. A fucking old ass game. The RTX 2080 is at like 50 fps. It's a shitty meem resolution.

You need to have a fucking stupidly big monitor and sit right next to it to even see that shit.

>Can't even smoothly run a ps3 game
LMAO. When are yo-u fags going to ketchup?

I have a 4K TV and a 1440p monitor, I mainly use the monitor for games. That said the guy I replied to literally said
>you should have no prolems run any game in 4k with max settings

even a 2080 ti cannot maintain a stable 60 fps in the witcher 3 at 4k for example.
it's literally a meme resolution.

maybe don't play garbage games kek

Maybe turn down some of the settings?

I'd say imagine being stupid enough to buy into 4k but you're an anime poster so it checks out

Oh I was agreeing with the idea that it's a meme resolution.

1080p
60 fps
medium settings

I hope you'll see performance boosts if you opt out of 4K. I know you won't because it will just downscale the image. I'd prefer 1080P and 60+ FPS if I couldn't have both resolution and performance.

But then this is no longer true.
>run any game in 4k with max settings
And that brings me back to my original post. If the PS5 really targets 4k for demon's souls then I don't find it strange that they give you the option for a stable framerate because that piece of shit will never reach 4k/60fps.

As I said 2 posts later I play in 1440p, not in 4k. I just have a 4k TV that's hooked up to my PC, mostly for watching movies in bed and other shit. But apparently you are too smart to read more than 1 post, so who really gives a shit about your "opinion".

O-kay? I just wanted to add some information to the general conversation, not step on anyone's toes. So whatever.

Not to defend the console but usually devs get better at optimizing games on consoles deeper into the life cycle. So games in a few years might run better than release games. Still, consoles suck ass as usual.
