Battlefront 2 is still pretty alive, BF5 has been dead for a long time and it's a shit game on top of that, bf4 and bf1 still have a lot of players

I had Dragon Age: Origins from years ago and I thought it was kinda funny that I could buy it again but they updated the shit and now I'm pretty sure the game is borked with Origin horseshit.
Battlefield 2 was still broken last I checked, I'm installing it now to see if they did a decent thing and are gonna let the steam brigade play it again.

Does BF2 through steam need origin account or no?

When it hangs, quit out and rerun the punkbuster setup/test. Steam will do it automatically. Origin wasn't installed and I was able to get here, didn't bother making an account yet so I don't know

Battlefield 3, Dead Space 3 and Mass Effect 3 were were supposed to be system sellers for Origin, so they were exclusive to it. Previous games in series were released on Steam

BF4 has seen a pretty big resurgence in playerbase since bfv got game ended.

I noticed that too. I think they're mixing the two and letting you link accounts much like you can on gog, because a handful of EA games I have on steam I now have in my origin library as well, chiefly da:origins. It also works with the modified exe for the 4gb memory patch thank christ so I can play it again.

Played BC2 and BF3 a bunch, but my PC at the time couldn't handle BF4.

It's gotten really popular again in the last month and change since the announcements that BFV was no longer going to be supported, so it's pretty populated, but it's hard to say for how long.

I'm going back to RO2.
