>It drives people into anger just for existing
How can a demon be so based?
It drives people into anger just for existing
he cute
I really dislike the storm beast redesign.
Why does it look so cartoony? I can't pinpoint if that's because of lighting or proportions, or if designs look unrealistically stupid. Maybe it's the effect of hyperrealistic rendering coupled with obviously unrealistic designs that wasn't a problem with original games. Makes me think of Fable or Doom monsters.
Some of the new demon designs look like they're straight out of DOOM 2016.
it may look a bit cartoonish because you can actually see the creature and its not just an orange blop
generally speaking the remaster so far looks hell of a lot better than the original, shapes are more pronounced and you can actually see stuff instead if everything being a blur
I'm just gonna cheese him like I did in the original by getting him stuck on terrain and magic spamming him and there's NOTHING you can do about it :^)
this is a remake bro
what Diablo game is that?
*stands behind chunk of spine on the ground*
*unzips katana*
Nothin' personnel, kid.
I'm also gonna shoot the Maneaters from outside the fog gate with arrows :^)
no
>Gold skeleton
>Isn't gold
This fucking gameplay better be good.
Demon's always had a cartoony design for most of its creatures, they just look extra cartoony with the new early Dreamworks-tier graphics.
I like the eyeballs. that's neat.
There were grey, gold and black skellies so it's just the grey one in the trailer
>it's just the grey one in the trailer
Watch the trailer again, he's using the bigass sword that only the gold skeletons had.

t. posted it again
Because it is over designed
what lord of the ring game is this?
you're wrong
You, or whoever typed this is fucking retarded. The top one looks goofy as fuck. It looks like it has googly eyes.
>user grew up so poor his googly eyes didn't have pupils
Pfffft, that'll show him.
Indeed. I hope that in the future when he critiques someone's opinion on a video game he puts a little thought into it.

>designed for a completely different game
>the remaster so far looks hell of a lot better than the original,
technically yeah, meaning the polygon count and volumetric lighting are higher/there. artistically it's a generic dumpster fire.
>That changes anything whatsoever
Dummy, a lot of things in vidya are taken from one source to the next and become recognized as part of the latter
I think it's the color. There is more vibrancy to the colors, giving it the cartoony feel. If they kept the colors gray, muted, and hopeless like the original it would have felt a lot better. Also, some of the designs really have the high-fantasy feeling, which doesn't match that much.
I'm still excited, I don't think it's a big deal.
>look at all these things I'm making up that mean DeS has soul and that From do everything intentionally
>actually this enemy is ported from a 2006 game
>this changes nothing
I mean, Dark Souls had plenty of asset reusage from DeS. Look at the Asylum Demon's moveset vs Vanguard's, both are the first boss, but Asylum is just B I G
One thing I hope they don't drop the ball on is the music. The depressing yet still knightly music with the brassy instruments (like in the Vanguard fight) was really cool, and really fit the tone of the game.
I share concerns with everyone else, I hope the art style gets a bit of a makeover to match the original better and move away from high-fantasy cartoony, but I'm excited nonetheless.
I loved Enchanted Arms. Just started another playthrough a few weeks ago.
To simplify your post, all the new designs are overtly designed and look like they came out of Doom or Diablo rather than running with the aesthetic goal of the original and instead sticking with the obvious Lovecraft Influenced Fantasy and DnD influence all over the game that made everyone call Bloodborne the spiritual Demon Souls sequel rather than Dark Souls.
Didn't know they talked about diablo 4 at the PS5 reveal. Anything interesting?
how the fuck was demon's souls inspired by lovecraft? maybe phalanx
nevermind i'm fucking retarded kind of forgot about the old one
