Fair, I suppose. I did get my account banned last year, but that's probably due to the obviously fake info on my account when I tried contacting support because I couldn't access the player's site due to an old OTP system. But yeah, I still wouldn't use the western servers, but because of content and such, but also because I experienced the shitshow that was PSU's western servers.

I mean, playing for over a week and getting one class to 75, completing the story, got my Ranger a +31 Elder Rifle, already have Gunner to 49, i've basically played everything besides some of the sub quests and the fourth Extreme. I've already enjoyed the vast majority of what the game offers besides the varied play styles of other classes, what lies before me now is mostly grinding for Nemesis/Slave and getting a second class to 75. If I managed all of this in a week and a half, sticking around for two more months might be a bother.

I just discovered it's not the weapon type locked by class but the individual weapons. I have a Sword/Partisan/Wired Lance I can use as a Te/Hu and it's a lot of fun. Is it worth taking any of the skills related to using hunter weapons like the perfect guard ones or the weapon focuses?
