Yeah what the fuck is up with that. Slayer/Ironbreaker Bardin is kinda weird but I guess it's not out of the realm of possibility that one of those things might happen to him. How would some random Reiklander become a grail knight, which is already pretty damn rare? How could you even balance this in this game without it feeling silly? Those fuckers can go toe to toe with chosen and demons. Why not go with some other knightly variant that does not mean you get retarded strength through supernatural means?

Their games don't have enough content and then they're way too slow in adding it and make it paid on top of that. They should've launch with all Vermintide 1 and its DLC maps in the first place but Fatshark is a bunch of retard kikes and because of their incompetence the game is dead after one month.

Adding a new character would mean new voice lines for every character, which is a pain in the ass. For the grail knight, you could just give Kruber a few new lines if any at all and be done with it. I'm not sure the other characters really comment on your currently selected class but I'm not sure, I haven't played the game in a while.
Honestly it's pretty much just a cash grab. And one that does not make any fucking sense at all. The empire has its own share of knightly orders, so why the fuck would you pick the one that is foreign, is limited to nobles of said foreign countries and grants you super strength? Not to mention that Kruber didn't exactly want to do the whole knight thing with his foot knight role, and now it's a divine fucker who's the essence of chivalry. The fuck?
