play Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen. why? because it's one of the best JRPGs to come out in the last 20 years while keeping the adventure aspect.
how is it full of adventure? because the map is huge and full of enemies and objects that have nothing to do with sidequests or story. examples? a healing fountain/spring that a bunch of beast steaks hang around for some reason.
so go fucking play it i need y`all to pour money into the franchise so I can get a proper sequel

I tried it user but it was confusing as fuck, the combat was really clunky, and the whole system with retainers or whatever they're called where I need to take other people's characters with me (but they don't level up so they either break the game or I end up carrying them) was just retarded so I stopped.

mystic knight, magick archer, and strider are the most fun I've had with the game so far
and the best part is that they all have fairly balanced stat gains, although magick archer is outclassed by the other two in the regard

hard is easier than regular after a while
gold drops are super inflated, and most stats come from gear, so you can get fairly good gear without really working for it
