It's possible that the base roster for this game is going to be kinda small, so some people are going to get excited that a character they like is going to be included. And Ramlethal is a little bit of a surprise since all the previously-announced characters have started out in the original GG.

The only reboot is mechanically. The story is a direct continuation, they just want SF/DBFZ players to buy GG so they're reworking the entire combat system
