It's the best Souls game, yes this includes Sekiro and Bloodborne. It was back when the whole idea was new. Summoning and Invading was the wild west, not normalized balanced PvP. Items and weapons were weird as fuck, enemies were more threatening than the actual bosses, and the atmosphere of each level trumps literally anything else in the entire series, yes including Ash Lake and Painted World.

Mostly nostalgiafagging. 9 out of 10 bosses aren't actually bosses, just a placeholder push button to win " " "puzzle" " "; the rest is just suffering through slowdowns due to clutter or falls to your death in pitholes with no checkpoints. Dying to actual enemies is nearly impossible unless you have brain damage.

The environments look solid, but the enemy design is way too western and Doom tier.

It's very good. The most consistently good game in the series, I'd say, but it doesn't reach the heights of Dark Souls 1

Gimmick bosses in Demon's Souls are a lot more interesting than the endless copy/paste knights and beasts of DS2/3
