Because people can't pirate it is the big ones scene groups go around and spread FUD, most of the claims against Denuvo are from them. I have never had a single issue related to Denuvo with any game that had it and most of the claims against it are either debunked or without any evidence. The only claim that has any truth to it is that is affects performance but that really depends on if the developer implements it properly or not. There have been instances of Denuvo being removed or an executable without it making it's way out there and some games show zero difference in performance while others do show measurable gains in framerate without it. It also does bloat the executable a few hundred MBs but if your sweating 100-200MBs of HD space you have bigger problems. If DRM like Denuvo is what it takes for developers like Atlus to finally release shit on PC I'll take it. It's no worse than the hardware DRM boxes consoles are.

Also it's fucking hilarious seeing people whine about Denuvo so much like it's so intrusive they obviously weren't around for draconian DRM like Starforce or Securom (remember lifetime activations?) and Denuvo does not install a fucking driver like Starforce did and Starforce was also fucking ridiculous to remove. It makes piratefags seethe so it's good on my book they are a fucking blight on PC gaming and the main reason we don't get big budget PC exclusives anymore so it's not shocker some publishers are leery of PC. It's also fucking cute seeing people pirate the game because HURR DURR I'M NOT INSTALLING MALWARE when they don't even realize cracks can't remove Denuvo and they are still installing and running it on their PC.
