It's just a feature that makes the game easier, whenever you're dungeon crawling you can tap an SOS button in the corner, this notification shows up for other players and they can answer it, next time you enter a battle you'll recover a minuscule amount of hp and sp based on how many responded.

Is it possible to rank first on that first exam of the game? I've never tried spending all of my time raising academics beforehand since I wanted to start some Social Links but I'm able to get top 10.

Haven't played P4 since it came out on the PS2, excited to play through it. I really didn't do a whole lot of the social links back when I played so I'm excited to see what all I missed.
I will say the begging few hours are painfully slow though.

If EN is there a mod to restore the JP dub?

I loved P4 back in the day. How much content does Golden add? Is it worth playing again through the base game for it (or rather for the 3rd time for me)?

I think it's doable but not recommended since you want to be efficient with how you pace social links.

JP is there but the sound hasn't been compressed properly. Hopefully it's patched
