Okami was NOT good on the wii. I regret to inform you but ps2 actually did it better. I did enjoy playing the HD one on the switch though. Everything else though is ok.

I played Okami on the wii, what exactly did you have trouble with? At that time I found it refreshing since it was more colorful and ran in anamorphic widescreen, making signs with the wiimote was really cool.

it has the best and deepest version of mario kart. xenoblade which yes was remade but hey at the time it had it. resident evil 4. i'll be honest i let it collect dust for a long time but recently was amazed at what it could do also wiiware games are really really fun. i modded mine and downloaded essentially everything that was on the marketplace for free and i couldn't be happier. not only that but it plays all my gamecube games perfectly and with component output. fuck man the wii is a dream currently that everyone should own.

N64 has one of the shittiest libraries ever, but the games were so groundbreaking it gets a pass. GC is just shit with some exceptions like Metroid Prime or TTYD

The PS3 and 360 fucking sucked. Legitimately the worst consoles ever barring silly shit like the virtual boy. The ps4/xbone were alright, nothing amazing but 360/ps3 were a trash can with like 3 games worth playing. (demon souls/darks souls and what else?)

Because Nintendo consoles were always somewhat under powered and the 7th generation of consoles is when graphically impressive online games (especially shooters) became the big thing. Most of these people "hate" the Wii because the Wii didn't have the games their friends played.

Some Japanese third parties stepped it up this gen, like Dragon Quest XIS, DMC V and Monster Hunter World. It's not an amazing gen but it's alright. The 360/ps3 era japan was just dead, producing nothing of value.

i gave up on the wii pretty quickly, although the good games that did come out for it, I had a great time with. Hanging out with bros during the summer playing subspace emissary and punch out wii was kino.
