There's the issue with underwater gameplay and the fact that mermaids in lore are depicted as monsters that lure men with the premise of sex so they can murder them. Hard to touch on that subject.
With the ride of popularity of monster girls it's only a matter of time we get a game with mermaids + a lot of others.
