Also, no AI isn't fucked. It's as stupid as it was before. I can't count how many times the enemy troops just ran around like headless chickens allowing my guys to shoot them in the original.

Followed by Command and Conquer 4 that actually delivers proper continuation to the story, with the Scrin invasion of Earth etc.

Look, AI will almost always cheat one way or another, because it is either too smart and needs to be dumbed down (Warcraft) or too dumb and needs some kind of boost (C&C). I remember enemy casters in Warcraft 1 being able to target multiple units at once, something the player couldn't do because of fucked controls.

I don't think they can remaster Tib Sun, it was made Freeware years ago.

Nope, the AI is just as dumb as it used to be. Especially the Harvester pathfinding. If you remember it better, then it’s likely cause you played OpenRA which changes all that.

In the original you could sell units with sandbags by positioning them close to it and dragging the $ over the solider. Though this might have been something I imagined as a child.

For the remastered music and graphics of course. I have been playing CnC 1 and RA 1 for free for years now, I still bought the remaster just for the remastered music alone.

I swear to god AoE3 AI knows how to outplay newbie players 8 matches out of 10. But only like 50 other people besides me plays AoE3, while the other 10,000 play 2.

They said they found them while looking for the source files for this remaster, which they never found and basically had to remake it from scratch iirc.

TD and RA were freeware before TibSun and still got remasters.

It’s called Q Attack.

Hold down Q when targeting units and then select a new location to move to. You take 90% less damage.

I think they are using a new engine. They just need to recover/rip sound effects or make new ones and rip the original art from the old games and start working on updated sprites and voxels. Music would get the same treatment that this remaster did.

Almost all of them were released as freeware during some anniversary. I don't think it matters.

Literally 0 confirmation but with how well this sold EA has no real reason to say no, and they'd probably be a lot easier to remaster too.

I think that CnC 3 was pretty good. The only real issues I had with it was how they toned down the dystopic atmosphere of Tib Sun.
