The first is pretty damn good for its age but 2049 is way better just due to the omission of 80's jank shit that doesn't stand up like the embarrassing acting with the love interest girl in that one apartment scene and that hilarious fight scene near the end with the replicant lady handspringing at Deckard

Well like the goofy fight scene near the end that I mentioned with the acrobat attacking Deckard by fucking handspringing at him, the over-the-top combat moves that make no practical sense are an old movie (80s-90s) trope. Also the scene where Deckard is trying to keep the lady from leaving and he grabs her and mashes his face into hers because that's how you kiss someone passionately according to people in the 80s. There were more but it's been a while since I saw that

I honestly can't explain a lot of it in detail, it's hard to put into words. It's just wacky shit you wouldn't see in movies nowadays because movies have gotten better at being grounded. I just skimmed through the movie a little bit and it's stuff like the replicant woman getting shot and then screeching and flopping around on the ground for like a minute like some kind of retard, the campy acting from Ford, stuff like that. Just takes you out of it
