Looks overly designed. I don't personally care, since I would just treat it like my router and put it behind my monitor, where it is not taking any valuable space. I can understand why people don't like it, since it doesn't fit well in a square shaped shelf, which is where most people keep their consoles.

Was that honestly it? Sony's not-E3 show and reveal of the console they're stuck with for the next 4-8 years? I can't tell what improved. I don't see how it is any better than PS4. I'm pretty sure most of the games they show'd ARE for PS4.

I swear Sony got caught with their pants down about the heating issues and had to scale the size up to compensate last minute. Or, incredibly unlikely, they never intended for a disc drive on Series X and had to add one, but I doubt this since Sony can cut deals for near free drives and they don't have to license the firmware (from themselves lmao)

It is that huge..... and they put the ports dead center in the worst spot for any aesthetics at all when using them. It is ugly and will be worse when you want to charge your 5 hour lasting "BUT MUH BATTERY IS BUILT IN!!!" controller.

not even exaggerating its 1.5-2 times the size of your router. not only that but it will be overheating. if you compare the square inches of how much vent the xbox has compared to the playstation its laughable. they're either going have to recall all launch ps5's, have the system be loud and i mean loud as fuck, or suck it up and let the console underperform due to heat issues.
