The original Tommy looked like a kindly gentle soul. Must have been his big eyes. He's not ugly but he's not exactly a handsome Chad either, in a way his low-poly 2002 model looks more 'real' than the new guy.

The new guy looks like a cocky, confident thug with male-model facial aesthetics. Kind of looks like a young Robert De Niro.

Tommy wasn't exactly a good guy in the original. He was okay with hurting people for money and shot up a church. He only refused to kill people close to him and only ratted when the family caught him trying to pull a big dick move with the cigars

He was an immoral man surrounded by truly terrible people. As far as I recall he almost only killed other gangsters.

That's beside the point that Tommy had depth and that his design and voice reflected that, instead of being just another rent-a-thug sneering dago

Will wait for release user reviews, i'm really afraid they will change things a lot(like removing HP)/game will be very buggy.

I hope to God they don't botch it like the Mafia 2 re-release. I don't mind them making it cover-based and adding regen health, they can do away with freeride extreme, they can remove the immersive speeding/redlight laws. Just so long as it isn't a buggy mess. Anything but that.
