It will. Fantasy setting for witcher is far more forgiving since nobody has standards for fantasy/3rd person for some reason, but on shooters the standards for "passable" are significantly higher and the poles would need to learn how to make combat more than passable in order to make it.

Witcher 3 kind of sucked on release, but after like 9 months of updates it got a lot better and was a fun game.
