Why would you buy a console day 1 that has no confirmed good games?

But why? It doesn't have a single fucking decent exclusive game announced. After being a retarded day one buy consoomer I learned that these fucking consoles are only worth it after 2+ years now (so that they have at least a couple good exclusives to buy), OR if there is piracy available.

Sony supporting archiving games on a NAS. Obviously they'd be encrypted, and would have to be reloaded back onto the PS5 before playing, but it'd still let me download once and handle all the raw data, backups and so on with the same set of tools I've got, and would mean I'd always have everything if the the net went down.

I have nearly zero expectation of this actually being done, but they could and it'd be great particularly with the internal drive being only adequate. I doubt though anybody there will even think about it, but hey you never know.

Buying it mainly to replace my ps4 pro at this point, i'll check out what games are available on launch though. the jet engine sound better cease with that now that it has backwards compatibility.

For some reason, it happens. PS4 and Xbone both had strong financial launches

It's a new experience, where you get to play improved video-games. Everyone gives up on consoles in their last few years, so coming back and trying out new tech is cool.

I'll be getting the PS5 once God of War 5 comes out (hopefully a slim version will be available then). I'm looking forward to GOW5 obviously. Eldenring sounds promising, with Mortal Shell also looking decent.

Are you retarded user? The PS5 and XTwo are obviously different then previous gens since for the first time in console history the basic architecture isn't changing. They'll both run a wide variety of previous gen titles, and better. Lots of people didn't get a PS4, of those who did the vast majority never got a PS4 Pro, and lots only played a few games. Unlike the PS4, with the PS5 day 1 they'll be able to play plenty of games they haven't, and at better framerates. It's like upgrading a PC and saying "why would you buy a new PC no confirmed Day 1 games!?!?"

Like, those super awesome games that "everyone" on Zig Forums has played a hundred times? Most people haven't played them yet. Most people have huge backlogs, even restricting purely to good stuff. Most people don't have nice gaming PCs, or can't be assed to get them working in their living rooms or whatever.
