Man, this looks amazing. I played through DaS2 again recently, what a sad excuse for a game that is. I wish someone would leak the original version of DaS2, afaik there were never any screenshots or videos shown, only concept art.

There’s a giant gaping power gap regarding story, tone, atmosphere and gameplay between base game and the DLC. I think it’s more to say Shibuya was a hack who didn’t get the subtlety of Souls and Tanimura had to salvage what he could.

the problem is you have one cool looking shot vs a game, where it has to work from a 3D perspective, it has to run smooth, it has to tell a story, it has to work from a gameplay perspective. People like OP are always complaining about B team or unfinished game or downgraded games without understanding the reality of creating something
