If all the online shit and mictrotransactions were removed and NPCs were included from the beginning, would it be a good game?
If all the online shit and mictrotransactions were removed and NPCs were included from the beginning...
They are wising up and dropping the survival crap.
If they ditch the item degradation I may give it another shot.
Who knew tedium wasn't a big selling point.
Do you have to beat the base game to play wastelanders? Only played the alpha and didn't bother buying but now interested if npcs are in it from the beginning
They should have just made it a standalone, smaller Fallout game. No microtransactions, no multiplayer, NPCs from launch. Could have been decent.
Possibly would have gotten it, even if I still hate Bethesda for bringing paid mods back.
76 completely destroyed them in my eyes.
No, it's still have no endgame. One of the most exciting recent things the playerbase was blowing their load over was the return of an event that you can basically afk, awards 1 legendary, and a random mask that looks ugly but because it could be a rare drop it somehow has value. They recently teased the future of the game, and instead of nuking the south eastern corner of the map to fight a giant laggy health sponge bat you nuke a mine so you can fight mutated slenderman.
It's shit, and it will always be shit. It's never getting better.
Almost rendered... West Virginia!
Clipping mountains, high contrast river...
Wastelanders is there from the start it mixes in the middle with the base game and is good enough but still short.
Game is still shit.
Nvm then. Stick with new Vegas and fallout 4
you mean stick with 1, 2, and new vegas, RIGHT?
They should have given this project to Zenimax Online or whatever they're called. 76 is so badly supported its hilarious. Even small bugs that a kid modder can fix instantly takes about 2 months to sort out.
Not necessarily but it’s a step in the right direction and maybe even a step above 4
>the brotherhood of STEEL is coming to appalachia!
>26 years after the war
.................... Right
No, it would still be worse than 4. And 4 is fucking dogshit.
The only path towards redeeming this shit is having an offline mode. Until that happens nothing else they do matters.
It would still be Hollywood trash.
Fallout 4 has some good stuff in it so I wouldn't call it dogshit unlike Fallout 76.
Is that a question that truly matters?
A polished turd is still a turd, m8
There is an offline mode, you just have to pay for it.
It's still not offline. It's just a private server. Fuck I might even pay for true offline if it was an option.
>Who knew tedium wasn't a big selling point.
But that’s minecraft selling point
Just because a game has themes doesn't mean that's what it's actually about.
>NPCs were included
lack of NPCs was the least of this game problems. The game could be great if it was just Rust copy, but with Fallout theme. However, the bugs and overall shit surrounding this game like bag, Nuka Rum, moldy helmet controversion, bethesda launcher only, accidentality doxing people who wanted refunds and many, many more
>tfw I just like building and seeing cool houses
Games been fun to me since the beginning, got it as a gift and only play with my cousin.
Don't forget one of the worst UI and perk designs known to man. Seriously whoever thought that card system was a good idea (especially in regards to crafting and lockpicking/hacking) needs a kick in the balls.
>Seriously whoever thought that card system was a good idea
I believe the card system was supposed to be the main source for microtransactions. I can see $1 card packs sold in the ATOM shop. Then someone blurbed out that microtransactions will be cosmetic only.
Oh I meant just general use. It's tedious as fuck to have to go into that fucking shit interface just to switch to crafting or lockpicking mode, do your thing, then switch back bit by bit.
Their respec system is also the biggest fucking joke. You have to do it point by point by leveling up more.
How to fix the game, with unlimited storage and no durability
>go full mmo
Make more lategame content, raids, team required content, plan an entire new map, burning crusade expansion style with new weapons, enemies, gear, legendary effects, don't tie it to nukes either
Or
>Go full fallout
get rid of durability, triple camp sizes, more allies, let you start your own town
Other things id like
>marry a player
Lets you combine your item boxes, camps, and currency, so do you have a higher limit on each and can make much larger structures and store more junk
I forgot to add, marrying a player would also share your perk cards
