No excuse for such a large company

Nintendo did nothing wrong. You knew the risks. You bought it.

>modeseven
People keep screeching over shadman but modeseven is hundred times worse

>You knew the risks. You bought it.

what are consumer rights?

It's ab absolute shit show, but given the remaining two options, it's the best we got.

>muh rights
liberal detected

why can't chinks make an off-brand driftless analog replacement?

I use a pro controller.

Not him but they literally don't exist because of how much shit the average goy will eat as long as the product being consumed contributes to their bread and circuses.

Fuck them. Unbelievable that they haven't fixed this. It's also incredibly common.

Drifting is a new style of gaming

>I use a pro controller.
they drift too

Must suck to live in whatever shithole you are in.

I had drift, but contact cleaner fixed it entirely, its annoying, but its a problem you can fix for 5 bucks
its shit, but easily fixable, if that doesn't work, you should be able to send them in for free replacements

Yeah America is pretty dystopian when you take a critical eye to it.

Just buy a replacement stick, most sellers send you the screwdriver for free and opening the joycon and taking the piece out is pretty easy.

mfw bought a stolen sealed switch straight from the store back in 2018 for like $180
imagine paying full price for consoles, lmao

>tfw multiple retards have bought extra joycon because they were too retarded to spend 2 minutes googling how to fix it
Nintendo used to use quality to sell but in the latest years they just use garbage to milk retards

why cant you send them back to nintendo to fix this shit?

the screws strip just by looking at them wrong

fuck off

there are 60 million Switch's out there and you guys always post the same 3-4 images

i've had mine since 2017 and it hasn't drifted

Can somebody explain the details?

I remember that PSP 3000 suffered from keys that would get stuck in "pressed" state due to non-isolated sticker beneath that would absorb water from air and thus change shape. Is Switch suffering from something similar?

the analogs catch dust particles and begin registering ghost movements

>do the vibrating trick
>normal for a while, but drift comes back
>drip isopropyl alcohol on a swab and get it all under the flap
>normal for a while, but drift comes back
Do I really need to get one of thoses spray can thingies or is my left analog fucked forever?

>the screws strip just by looking at them wrong
Sounds like you're a retard who's not using the right screw bit.

I think you can, as long as the problem is definitely with with the joycons, they will send replacements
I haven't had to because like I said, in the majority of cases, contact cleaner will fix it, in the event it doesn't, send them in for a replacement, very rarely will you ever need to actually buy new ones
try contact cleaner, use a little under the flap, wiggle the stick around to make sure its spread, then let it settle for a day or so, then calibrate to see if it worked

>Werks for me
>Man all these fucking poor people just win the lottery, worked for me and I retired at 22

I fix it every 3 months with this $2 contact cleaner

it's never going to be "good" again, all solutions are temporary

nintendo didnt fix this after 3 fucking years?

Attached: 1370723080214.jpg (1920x1080, 917.78K)

You think that because you bought into to the idea that the >shadman meme came because of WHAT shadman draws. It didn't, it's HOW he draws it, he just doesn't have good understanding of anatomy or art in general, especially when the meme started. You're on Zig Forums for fuck sake, do you really think anyone singled him out for his degeneracy?

I call my joycons AE-86 lol

This image is from 13 jul. 2019

If it was so common as you claim, you wouldn't need to use a 1 year old image

Works for me :^)

When you order the joystick part, order some new screws too. I had one strip pretty badly when removing it. Had to use a screw removal bit on my drill, took it out quickly, replaced it with a new one.

>a screw removal bit on my drill,
ok boomer

we don't all have a drill, let alone specialized bits

I've never had problem with joycon drift on switch controllers. I have however had problems with drift on ps4 controllers

*fixes*

Why do people act as though the DS4 doesn't suffer from hardcore drift?

Attached: 71HdHkjVMiL._SL1500_.jpg (1061x1500, 78.16K)

>go to my local hardware store and by contact cleaner for 5 bucks and never have to deal with this shit until the switch degrades into a mass of plastics
>send it to nintendo and wait weeks and weeks just for it to drift again the next month
if this shit didnt have double cross i would've pawned it off a long time ago.

Weak men, hard times and all that. Maybe you should get a drill and a set of bits.

Dust particles can cause it, but sometimes that isn't the problem. The main issue it's that the joystick uses graphite as the conductive material that registers the motion. Graphite like in pencils. It wears down and breaks the circuit, causing the drift.

got a replacement set from amazon
took me 5 minutes of screwing up the controller, replacing the analog stick, then screwing it back together. No recurring problems since then. Easy fix for a few bucks
just because it is easy to fix doesn't excuse the poor product

Okay, zoomer. Ask your dad to use his, or your mother's boyfriend of the week. Or buy a cheap one.

>he just doesn't have good understanding of anatomy or art in general
And modeseven does?

It doesn't, I've had my ps4 for much longer than the switch and it never drifted, the switch drifted in 2 months
also I've seen several people saying they have drifting joycons but never a ds4

>It doesn't,

Google PS4 drift. It's a very common thing.

Your anecdotal evidence don't mean much.

You don't have proper tools? Maybe you also can't solder? You might be a zoomer, woman or both.

Regular gameplay can cause this wearing, especially with high use games like Smash.
I didn't have a screw extractor set until I stripped my joycon screws and had to buy one...It's God to have. Ifixit.com has a great step by step in how to replace the joystick, and all the parts are on Amazon cheap.
