Yes. Think of the E3 xbone 2012/2013 blunder and marketing to core gamers fears that went to casuals. Realize they sold 50 mill. Factor XBL to GP conversion pulled in a few million core gamers and their mini show was mainly composed of day 1 GP games. Those xbl to gp will sell to early adopters.
MS stands to sell imo 70 mill minimum, if Lockhart exists and GP is pushed harder.
Next gen will be money hat city for both sides. MS wants subs, Sony wants to keep their sales to prevent them from embracing subs for 1st party.

nintendo went from 100m consoles sold to 15m to now over 40m. the games industry at large isn't some impossible market. if you have good games, good hardware, good features all at good value you will do well. 360 was a prime example of that.

No, and it has to do with the fact that in 2012-2013 Nintendo and Microsoft both suicided at almost the exact same time and allowed Sony an incredibly easy coast to victory despite the PS4 having a weaker library in its first 3-4 years of existence than any of the other Sony consoles. It sucks because it's probably going to happen again considering most of the games they showed off at their event were multiplats or not coming out until a year or two after launch, but people still gobbled it up. The only thing that will knock Sony off its pedestal now is a massive $599 US dollars tier fuck up and Microsoft having the brains to capitalize off of it.

MS really needs to show the games from Playground and Initiative, I think those are the only studios that have the potential to make something truly great for MS.

I played it on my PS4 Pro and I sincerely wish it was on another platform, because it's clear Sony has no intentions of supporting any game that won't sell 10 million+ copies much farther past launch/DLC release, considering it never got a pro patch and games like GR2 got features killed a year after release.
The WiiU was just a bad product (and I dont mean like bad software or services) sold with terrible and confusing marketing.
