Go for Squad if you like actual teamplay and being part of a unit. Go for ARMA if you want to larp as military. Go for the others if you want a more realistic arcade experience but still fairly generic teamplay.

rs2 viet - actually fun game, but you gotta learn the maps and adjust
ps - shittier squad
squad - identity issues, it wants to be project reality then battlefield 2 and in the end it's neither of those. it's like having a good fap and suddenly video stops and never continues. do not recommend
insurgency 2 - twitchy one-shot counter strike, but now it runs like shit thanks to eu4, hard pass
hll - surprisingly fine game, pretty arcadey, but those meatgrinders and scale is really cool. but until they rework gunplay i don't play it much, it's way too shitty to shoot people after rs2 and squad. but overall it's solid

Arma 3 is a milsim, which despite appearances is NOT a FPS, and should not be played as such. It's more like a military GTA with RPG elements. For hardcore autists only.
All the others are glorified Battlefield mods, "realistic" to some extent, but very far from milsims, they're closer to Cawadooty.
