You get a pass this time and this time only you ESL third world shitter because Chaos Theory is great.

PSA: Anyone who loves Chaos Theory should play the PS2/OG Xbox versions of Double Agent in case they haven't already. Since it plays almost exactly like Chaos Theory does, unlike the shitty PS3/360 versions.

Thief and mgs are way better desu..

it is mechanically very similar but the game's levels are no where near as good as chaos theory's

I really enjoyed the 360 version you filtered pleb

>Admitting to having objectively shit taste
>Calling others a pleb
What in the fuck are you doing?

>360 version
>filtered

It's better in every conceivable way. I'm sorry you had to get the knock off ps2 version bro but the 360 version looked and played better.

You're like one of those youtubers who insists The Force Unleashed Wii games have better gameplay than a 360.

>They simplified the stealth mechanics in Conviction for casual audiences
Was Chaos Theory even that hard? I know there are a tonne of things you could do but I never found them confusing to use

>walk up to guard firing assault rifle at you
>press LT or RT
>guard gone
yeah no

What's the difference, though? Just gameplay? I only played the 360 version of DA.

the whole game is different
the only thing that remained the same are the names and some of the loose plot points like the prison
360 version is very pretty but an extremely buggy mess, didn't even ship with co-op but had a really fucking good multiplayer, i played the shit out of it
older version played like they took the co-op campaign from chaos theory and made it singleplayer and then built a whole game aorund it, it also included a badass co-op campaign as well. also it kept the sound meter from chaos theory and the light meter i believe, it didn't replace it all for a gay satnav and "you can be seen" "you can't be seen" "you are seen" traffic light system

is pandora tomorrow good?

Yeah, better than the first game. Not as many forced shootouts and certainly nothing like that shitty oil rig level. More interesting level gimmicks as well

The 6th gen version and 7th gen/PC version are two entirely separate games. Different levels, different story, different gameplay, etc.

Double Agent on PS2 was awful comapred to CT.
>missions are disjointed
>Emile is retarded
>no hub

DA on PC/X360/PS3 is miles better

I had no idea. Might have to track down a PS2 version and play it then.

An Xbox would be better. Or, you could get an Xbone and play it through backwards compatibility.

retard

>missions are disjointed
Nigger, are you for real? The Ubi Shanghai version was literally rushed out of the door. Compare the game's ending in both versions, the difference in quality is insane

>finish a mission while Emile is angry or suspicious of you
>next mission is like nothing happened
>they didn't give a big role to Moss which built up his distrust towards Sam
>he simply was a grunt-tier npc
>Doing objectives affects both sides, making balancing relationships harder and doesn't make any sense because there's no way the terrorists can know that I planted something magically while the modern version have the trust system with 2 bars so you can make both sides trusting you

the lighting is worse

>>finish a mission while Emile is angry or suspicious of you
If you finish a mission with low JBA trust in the next gen version, it doesn't change anything either

i wanna play CT coop with my bro again

It does, if they caught you in a restricted area they will quickly kill you instead of lowering your JBA trust if it was too high

That's just an instafail, it's not deeper or more interesting, it's just "don't get caught"
In Oldgen if you fuck up like that and lose all the trust you have to do a small secondary mission like hacking a computer for either JBA or NSA. It doesn't just kick you back to the checkpoint.

>you die because every shot takes too much health away for this to be possible
what now faggot

In the oldgen version, Emile just tells you "I'm suspicious, go to point A and report back to me"
"hey everybody, it was a false alarm, you can still trust Sam lol"
it was so stupid

Do I still have to play co-op at 30 fps or has this been fixed yet?

Well if you don't like it that much, load the last checkpoint like in the Next Gen Version. In my opinion an instafail is not any more elegant.

It can't be fixed, that's how it's hardcoded

I actually enjoyed the missions inside the enemy homebase, but I hated how every mission took place in bright outdoor areas.

Is it really good? I only played the original and it was garbage.

But it's more realistic and convincing.
they are a terrorist group and a slight suspicious can ruin the whole operation.

Fair enough

I wanted to play Splinter Cell so I looked it up on the PS Store, and none of the games are available. Why? Some kind of rights issue?
Also, why is Pandora Tomorrow still not on Steam with a new multiplayer server system?

Chaos Theory is the best stealth game ever made.
