comedy is hard to make, and even harder to make properly. that's why that "comedy club" game that was just a voicechat program with some visuals is so dead right now: only very few have the creativity to make comedy. even if the game assists you with it (like in games from the Jackbox party packs) it's very easy to fuck it up, because approximately half of all people have wits slower than an average person's.

I've watched a ton of stand up comedy throughout my life and I can confidently say, no he's not.
He tries way too hard to emulate Bill Hicks and Sam Kinison.

The type of comedy that's unique to games tend to be unintentional, that come from glitches, the deficits of AI, absurd/unrealistic gameplay logic that comes from gameplay convenience etc. You can have intentional humor just like in TV shows or movies or whatnot, but that's rarely the focus because it usually doesn't have particular synergy with the gameplay and other avenues are better for that.
