The marketing for Infinite has been hilariously bad. Since the game was announced in 2018 we've had two trailers, neither having a single second of gameplay. The only information we know about the game comes from Nerf and Megabloks leaks.

That would unironically fit Halo's sandbox design really well, as long as it isn't the main story mode.

Clearing outposts with covenant enemies like in Far Cry games sounds awful. At least in FC you have stealth, which they definitely won't add in Halo
