Are fans of Neo-Pokemon the dumbest people on earth?

You would have to be mentally stunted to enjoy pokemon, so yes

Ironic coming from someone from Zig Forums

pokemon requires a PhD compared to the games displayed at PC gaming show

It is combination of manchildren being dumb and gamefreak being utterly incompetent

I think they are being dumb on purpose, this is too brilliant.

there's no such thing as nuPokémon fans

>nu
why do people use this instead of just saying 'new'

Attached: 1501196513757.png (426x634, 628.28K)

It is a reference to "nu-metal" which was a 2000s era "genre" of awful un-listenable and fairly embarrassing music. It's just a way of calling something new sub pard.

>Wrong expansion pass?
What the heck does this mean? Are they purchasing for a completely different game?

explain this image to me

neo is for boomers
nu for zoomers

I bet that's a high iq plan of everyone pretendin to be retarded, nintendo feeling bad about it and gifting everyone the right expansion so people get both for the price of one.

Anyone who prefers 3D to 2D should be chemically castrated.

Buying the Shield expansion if you own Sword etc

They bought Swoosh, so yeah.

How is this even a thing? What the fuck?

the store lets you purchase a DLC for a game you don't own?

the wrong dlc for their version. i assume sword/shield both have dlc that only work on one and not the other.

yes

Attached: 1575496544058.png (671x797, 286.79K)

excuse what the fuck does this mean. why are there multiple version of a pokemon game? didn't they stop doing that crap in 2000?

it's a gay r9k meme I think
that's a bit retarded

They are just clueless children. I remember buying Pokémon magazines as a kid thinking there would be the game in it.

You see, GF is so incompetent and retarded that they made an expansion pass for Sword and Shield separately. So considering how brain dead the current fanbase is, Shield owners bought the Sword expansion pass or vice versa.

>Are they purchasing for a completely different game?
Exactly, they’re purchasing the Pokemon Sword expansion pack instead of buying the Pokemon Shield expansion pack. To be fair, it warns you like 3 times beforehand. Most likely kids are purchasing the game and just clicking on what says Pokemon.

Because the basic, neutral word of “new” doesn’t carry the same meaning.

its been like that forever. it gets them more money because die hard fans will buy both versions of the game for the exclusive pokemon

Is this a serious post?

>it's a children's game
>just turn your brain off
>it's intentionally designed to be that way

Attached: 1579060596298.jpg (750x631, 347.05K)

Because Zig Forums at it's core is a site for hipsters and people with the mindset of a 12-16 year old.

Goo goo ga ga pee pee poo poo

Imagine if they came out with a game that had only one Pokemon and you'd have to buy the rest individually as DLC.

Go back to /vp/ fag
>why are there multiple version of a pokemon game? didn't they stop doing that crap in 2000?
Not only are they still doing it, but apparently it’s expanded to the DLC now too, which is fucking insane.

They never stopped doing that, why would you think otherwise?

I think console stores do let you do that, I remember downloading some free DLC for dragon's crown even though I only bought it months later.
Because of physical copies, they can't tie that to an account.

That doesn’t seem to have anything to do with being incompetent or retarded and just more about it being 2 separate games with separate files.

user, they have been using this outdated practice for the series since day one. yes, people are dumb enough to get scammed by gamefreak.

Zig Forums isn't smart, but pokefags are on a whole another level

>slowpoke but the head is yellow
that's kinda lazy

Wasn't Hoodlum the one being diddled?

>>it's a children's game
It is.
>>just turn your brain off
Not like it was on the first place.
>>it's intentionally designed to be that way
Because it's for kids.

Yes.
Only retarded manchildren and paid shills care about Pokemon

Attached: cringe.jpg (800x1066, 393.13K)

Wow, man. You are really taking me back. I remember before reddit became the big bogeyman here it was hipsters. Everyone was being called a hipster and being accused of being one. Really takes me back.

weird, I wonder if steam does that too, as far as i recall steam always warned you that you don't own the base game

costumers have to be fucking idiots to tolerate that shit.
made sense with the OG gameboy to promote trading, but we don't need that shit in 2020
>DLC too
that's fucking dystopic.

A f2p model, like DOA Core Fighters?

If they can tell they are buying the wrong one why can't they warn them at checkout

yes

It's still to promote trading and now you don't need a cable accessory to do it.

This shouldn’t even be possible. Its the same game, it should unlock whatever exclusive stuff in both versions

and before that, gaia. war...never changes.

>It is.

Attached: 1588423592332.png (459x454, 277.27K)

Afaik Nintendo only learned about this because of these people contacting costumer support, not because the store registered it.

how can you buy the wrong one if there's only one to buy...?

I could see it happening if they don't realize it's actually DLC and instead think it's a standalone game. I remember most people who bought one of Black/White would often buy the opposite of Black 2/White 2.

Realistically there shouldn't be a fucking difference and buying the pass for either should give it for both but Gamefreak gonna Gamefreak.

It does say "you need X game to use this" but retards don't read that.

>be retarded
>get called out for being retarded
>OMG Y U TAKE IT SO SERIOUS OMFG WTF

Apparently it does warn you at checkout, as well as two other times.

Yes, Nu-Pokemon is actively stunting the brains of todays youth. These people actually think Sword and Shield is what a $60 is supposed to look like despite it being completely fucking barren.

How many copies of Sw&Sh were sold? Say it, Zig Forums. I want to watch you squirm.

>nintendo warn you when about to lose money
ultra kek, waaay too much faith in nin

>BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH POKEMON DLC BLAH BLAH
>Continue
>Cancel

17.37m.

GF really made it shitty and confusing to be honest. there shouldn't be any DLC download, or even 2 games. there should be a single game and you chose to play the sword or shield story when creating your save. And the DLC would do the same. I mean, all content is in the two games.

>this confuses the Zig Forums

Attached: 53B71DE5-9C49-4A6A-A712-6F92999A9E7E.png (330x440, 262.56K)

So just another case of consumers being fucking retards who can't read anything, fuck up, and then go cry on the internet to ask for spoonfeeding on how to solve issues that could have been easily be prevented by not being retarded.

Sounds like it

Which is ironic, since his entire identity and career revolves around Pokémon

This is exactly why children (and you) are buying the wrong product.

>God, why are you upset? I just insulted your intelligence by making baby noises at you, why so serious bro XD

If they did that then people wouldn't pay twice for the same game.

Two versions is fine. What isn't fine is the director's cuts versions which are also now two versions. And the dual versioned remakes as well.

One content complete set per Gen is all that needs to exist.

It's also laughable that people think this is all that will exist this Gen as if DLC will have replaced follow ups. You don't honestly think they're going to miss out on selling dual version repacks with all of the DLC baked in as the director's cut just like they did in the past, do you? Of course not.

Come on user, that was my impression of retards, I'm not that stupid I swear.

>little kids making dumb purchases or parents unknowingly making the purchase
Same reason people thought the Wii U was an add-on for the Wii or what the difference was from a DS to a 3DS.
Nintendo literally confuses shit for their biggest demographic.

I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHICH ONE DO I BUY?????????

Attached: D1B14497-CAD4-40E6-AC26-B2BF11CA6BC5.jpg (845x480, 205.97K)

If Pokemon fans were smart enough to figure this out they wouldn't be Pokemon fans

You mean WAS. Now they're games for people with single digit IQs, not ages.

They were children's games now they're for no one.

Yes.
>It's still to promote trading and now you don't need a cable accessory to do it.
You don't need to sell 2 different games to promote trading, you can sell a game with 2 modes. In fact you only need 1 mode, if you choose Charmander you can only get Bulbasaur and Squirtle if you trade.

they would, because there's still only one save per game.

Sword version has a poison slut rival, Shield version has a psychic homo rival

>everyone is stupid except for me

>Make new Switch Profile
>get save files 2-8
WOW

reddit's not the big bogeyman any more, it's trannies on discord. And the secret is, the bogeyman has always kind of been real.

If it's for kids why do they keep pandering to genwunners?

technically, why shouldn't you be able to chose the other DLC instead of the one "for your game"? The differences are trivial.

Yes.
