Do they still hold up?

not really to be honest

they hold down

Infamous 1 and 2 are pretty good, I stopped playing 3 because it got boring. Can't put my finger on it but it somehow lacked something the other 2 games had

Likeable characters and engaging story?

Yeah 1 and 2 have. 3 has Sigourney Weaver but unfortunately that wasn't enough to hold my interest

>PS4 seems like the most SOULful game
>It turned Infamous into garbage.
>It turned Ratchet & Clank into garbage.
>It turned Uncharted into garbage.
>It turned God of Wa-- Actually, that one was good.
>It turned Little Big Planet into garbage.
>It turned Killzone into garbage.
It wasn't a good console for Sony IP, but the PS4 did have some great exclusives.

1 is such an ugly and clunky mess.
It looks like a fucking PS2 game and playing it on modern HDTVs it's a blurry, grey mess with every pixel being a jaggy on screen.
It also feels awful to play.

I absolutely hate Cole's redesign in 2.

What happened to Sucker Punch anyways?

The company develops Ghost of Walkingsimulaja.
But video game companies don't have the reputation to keep their staff over a long time.

Nah just play inFamous Second Son instead. It's way better and only nostalgia blind boomers will say otherwise.

That depends. Do you like games with a super dense grey, black or red filter over them permanently? Then those games are for you. If not, play the PS4 game instead.

1>2>shit>second son

I remember 2 being pretty good. 1 though is just meh and looks super ugly.

i remember getting infamous 1 for free after the PSN outage in 2011, really liked it. infamous 2 was cool too.

But I don't have a PS4 user's.. that game looks really good though.

That looks fricking awesome if you ask me

why does everyone shit on second son? The powers you get are really cool and unique and visually it looks amazing

never did. I played it about 2 years after it came out and it was boring as hell.

- open world with nothing in it
- extremely repetetive missions and combat
- uninteresting characters who are generic video game guys
- morality system that's really 1 dimensional

it's definitely not bad if your grandma got it for you for Christmas, but I wouldn't pay for it

>God of Walk was good
Kill yourself my man

Dont know if it holds up but all I know is that infamous>prototype

>I didn't play the game
hating popular things doesn't make you interesting, friendo

something being popular doesn't mean it's good

no, but having extremely high user and review scores does

Not a rebuttal.
Cope dial 8 and have sex

Not him, but the game really looks like shit. Why does it always have a grey filter on it?

Yeah, Second Son on PS4 looks way better. I really liked the Neon power.

the only one that doesn't hold up is 2. replayed it last year and the story missions are a straight up downgrade from 1. less variety, bullet-sponge enemies, shitty enemy placement etc all make it a terrible replay. the story and map activities that were fun the first time are irrelevant on a replay.
1 is still the best and SS is pretty good. Festival of Blood is also fun.

2 is better than 1 in every single way you retarded fuck

To be fair Empire City was a shitty place

>story missions are a straight up downgrade from 1
missions in 1 are way more repetitive than in 2
>less variety, bullet-sponge enemies
literally what? there are more enemies in 2 and if you're not retarded enemies die fast

No
Crackdown 3 had the same gameplay as 1 and 2 and got shit over it

Also they should have given delsin one unique power and fleshed it out more.

>mfw getting the ice launch in 2

that's because crackdown 3 is shit

The first one was a shittier prototype, but the second one is great, and Second Son was aggressively mediocre.

Best move in the game and lackvof it was severely noticeable during the evil route

notice how you can't specify why? it's because you're a mouth-breathing retard. enemy engagements in story missions were for more structured in 1. That was totally abandoned in 2, so much so that many encounters in the story missions felt no different to the random unscripted ones while running around in the map.
>more=better
seriously i think some of you nostalgia gogglers need to replay this game. when i originally played it so much of my memory of the game was running away to heal because enemies attack you from every fucking angle, and surprise surprise that happens again in my replay. How come it doesn't happen nearly as often in any of the other games? it's genuinely baffling to me how FoB is tighter in terms of gameplay than 2. it kind of proves my point that 2 is so stupidly overrated because most people just remember the story and open-world activities since they're well done.
