>“BloodRayne is a beloved franchise with a huge fan base and we’re extremely appreciative of the opportunity to be stewards for this fantastic series. Players the world over fondly remember titles like BloodRayne and Advent Rising and having the opportunity to not only bring these games to a new audience but to expand their universes is something we take seriously.”
>“We are really excited to have this opportunity to revisit one of our favorite game series and make it available to a new audience.”
It is a cult classic, it really resonated with some people. My friend wouldn't shut up about it back in the day. I thought it was okay but pretty generic when I played it. He got angry at me for that.
>It's working with original developer Terminal Reality to update the PC versions TR have been dead since 2013 what am I even reading? Regardless, in current woke climate I doubt any new games will be good, but at least the update might be ok if they don't fuck it up somehow.
>Ziggurat Interactive It's those guys who buy rights for moderately popular old games and stick price tags on them. You could say they're doing an important part in game preservation but it sounds more like jewery to me. >Buy rights for games nobody cares about because of zero brand recognition among normies >Stick a crack and a fan patch/widescreen fix on top >Release it on as many platforms at possible There's zero creativity involved in this, preservation is only a convenient side effect of making easy money.
>game that was about sexy big-tittied vampire chick shooting nazis >being made in current year, where you cannot have sexy bit-tittied women and anyone who disagrees with me is a nazi This game is going to have a rough release.
>Ziggurat Interactive president Wade Rosen says it's taking the opportunity to expand BloodRayne's universe seriously, Nobody wants a "serious" Bloodrayne game. It's a video game about a sexy goth dhampir who kills nazi vampires with arm blades and drinks blood suggestively. wtf
Luke Cox
really doubt anything will come out of this at the end, it's just talk right now
John Cruz
I absolutely loved this series back in the day, but I seriously cannot imagine that a Western company would dare do it justice today with how attractive women are verboten.
Adam Gutierrez
Sorry, can't take a series with a typo in its title seriously at all. Correct it to "Bloodrain" and then we'll talk.
Daniel Ortiz
This is what I'm curious about. What will they do?
Luke Moore
yeah, not sure how they can go anywhere with it.
just jiggly action -- I never played any more than the first game
>Bloodrayne 2020 If someone really expects this is going to be a callback to fap gore from back then and not reinvented as "strong wiminz kill bad man male oppressors" is going to be disappointed really, really hard
Bentley Bennett
What was the purpose of this bait?
Josiah Flores
>Reviving a mediocre dead series whose only saving grace was how sexualized it was >In 2020
Good luck with that. There is literally zero chance for a modern Bloodrayne game to be anything other than neutered dogshit, and that's assuming they even manage to get a new one out the door some day.
Christopher Watson
Second game is more of the first, but the controls are a little better. I didn't care for the Wayforward sidescroller, and didn't play it further than the demo.
hope we get to slaugher more qt goth enemies while they moan when you drink them
David Jackson
>Squared duke nukem jaw >Deflated titties and ass >The good old dark blue/brown tank top >Pants and tacticool belts >Spends half the game being phisically tortured because that's what stronk women do i suppose
Are you ready for the genre to mature, Zig Forums?
