Yeah, they just updated their Steam site. The last time I played was like 2 or 3 versions ago and the Geoscape was being spiced up. I readed about the new updates and it looks like they're getting their together
I doubt it. I want to be wrong, but at this point is already better than X1.
Actually there are a bunch of games doing this but they aren't popular so it seems like devs don't make it anymore

Yeah, not a fan of the soldiers art. The scenarios, on the other hand, are great (except for the jungle)

Some of the characters are built by the kickstarter backers with a simple applicaton, a few are even drawn by hand to the higher tier backer specifications. But this might be a randomly generated character.

I finished the 1st one with no losses. I managed to escape my lads in the final mission because I saved enough to buy a single one of those super guns to kill the massive spawning cycles.

Yeah but they ruined air combat

They switched their silly air combat for the Xenonauts 1 system. I don't like them and hopefully someone will release a mod that removes it.

Women soldiers are a liability with or without glasses

If you actually read the exam results of female soldiers, they do perform worse in some areas, but perform better than men in others. So, it's really dependent. Modern militaries don't have you marching 30km in a week. You load up in something and go for a ride.

Yes. It was a kickstarter goal they didn't reach but they'll do it anyway. They aslo want to have a Community Edition like X1 had, but they can't promise nothinh at this point.

Not unlike real life. We have laser-eye surgery and contact lenses but people still wear glasses. Just like people today still wear watches despite not actually needing them much anymore, they're more of a fashion accessory. It's really not that unbelievable.
