It's a pretty unremarkable third person shooter in almost every way. It had very high production values but other than that?

Funny, I tried to replay and I couldn't even bring myself to chapter 3. The gameplay is either your typical console 3rd person shooter garbage, or you roaming around like solid snake one shotting everyone. When I know how the story plays on, I really have no motivation to keep on playing because it' sure as hell isn't fun. Running like dog shit on ps3 doesn't help either, but I'm sure the ps4 version runs a lot better. Shit game with good story.

the 1 its absolutely beautiful, and have a good history.

the 2, a friend already have it, play half of the game, mechanics still solid, but, no innovation at all, just the same as the other (that is not bad, mechanics of the game are sooo amazing) history...
yea..... my friend and myself don't give a reverend fuck about religions of politics, and the history of the second game it's so try hard and mess up, that makes us aware of the lv of mental gymnastics creators of this one had to pull for justifying 10 hours of nothing in the second half.
the new history it's so generic. :s and the killing of so many good characters it's so sad, especially because on anticipation we play the first one on quarantine to get the fresh taste of the 2 one, difference in writing style it's very big, and new characters just don't hit the point of the past one, that pfff that make you hate someone or love it, the new game doesn't have it, even elly it's very generic and grey.

fortunate he buy his copy gets bored and leaves me to play it, I don't going to spend a cent in the second part.

The gameplay is boring and the story, while competent, is overrated as fuck. The fact that people point to it as a legitimate example of the artistic integrity of video games proves how far behind the medium is artistically, at least in the mainstream.

I thought it was ok, story was fine, writing was fine, characters were fine, gameplay was fine. It had a goal, to be a cinematic zombie story, and it pulled it off just fine.

Ive played games with far more original and well written stories that feature engaging gameplay and interesting characters, but they dont get the attention, the perfectly decent but kind of generic zombie game is the one considered a masterpiece.
I just dont get it.

At least I found it so. The first part on the way to the hospital it's bretty good but once you hit the tunnel, it's hard as shit to stealth your way through it, and the hospital throws many enemies at you at once, while not forgiving too much.

I was playing on grounded too, so I guess that's why I found it so difficult.

Maybe try being more stealthy around clickers, fag.

Also replaying this and the gameplay is actually pretty stiff, and got killed several times while wanting to take my weapons out. Maybe it's because I'm playing it 7 years after and already know the story, but it's more boring than I remembered.
Characters interactions are still great, though.
