Dark Souls easy mode

Here's the thing, let's assume FromSoft added an easy mode to each of their games. There's just normal and easy, normal is the difficulty the games have now. Would you succumb and if so at what point?

Demon's Souls - no
Dark Souls - possibly with Manus or Kalameet.
Dark Souls II - no
Dark Souls III - with sister Friede
Bloodborne - no
Sekiro - younger Owl

dark souls already has an easy mode just summon leeroy and kille pinwheel after the asylum

Easy mode has always existed, just choose the sorcerer class like every fuckin pussy does

what would easy mode even be ?
besides all games have easy mode
>Demons souls to DSII
Magic
>DSII
straight sword
>bloodborn and sekiro
idk didint play it

Dark Souls was never hard. If you need an easy mode in a game as simple as Dark Souls or any Souls game you may as well stick to movie games

The trick to this would be to not allow you to change the difficulty once you started the game.

Would you really start over to fight Owl Daddy on an easier difficulty after putting hours into the game?

The whole point of soulslike games is the pride at the end when you've beaten everything. Cheating in any way, even "turning down the difficulty" or "adding it some magic to boost my DPS" to get past "that one boss" you're having trouble with means arriving at the end not feeling like you truly earned it, because you know you cheated.

So no, no succumbing. Not in games meant to be hard.

Dark Souls games are not hard. None of them are. You could probably add a mode for mentally deficient people or the physically disabled. I'm an old fart with zero reflexes and have no problems with any of the games. They should be even easier for youngsters.

It it's not hard then it doesn't really matter if it had an easy mode.

I beat flamelurker with like 5 soul arrows.

I'm assuming you can change the difficulty.

>souls games
>hard
Kids these days.

Souls games already have easy mode with the co-op summoning.

>Dark Souls games are not hard
>Not in games meant to be hard.

So which one is it?

they are good

Yes it doesn't matter.

How is boosting your weapon with magic for a DPS boost cheating? It's an in game mechanic. "True Sous Fans" are just as unbearable as people who whine about how hard the game is.

The games have easy modes. It's callled heavy armor str build.

No to all of them because I play all games on hardest difficulty anyway because I'm jaded
dark souls would be no different if it had a hard mode

hes just a retard that doesnt belive in strategy in a rpg

They are not hard.
I wouldn't call them good(they are average) but they are definitely fun in the same way Heart of Darkness is fun(just without the amusing death animations).

>easy mode
it's called summoning or doing a spellcast/ranged build

>easy mode
How would that even work?
Every mechanics explained? A minimap with enemy radar?
I mean, DS games are not hard, really. The player effectively can't lose.

Dont think i ever would. The games are right difficulty.

That said, i wouldnt play them on a harder mode either. Normal is the intended play for a 1st time.

>The whole point of soulslike games is the pride at the end when you've beaten everything
Holy fuck the delusion of soulsfags.

>Would you succumb and if so at what point?
Wouldn't at all, it took me a few days to beat Owl in the flashback and it was the most statisfying moment I've had in gaming for a while. Honestly I think the gaming audience would be more statisfied with games if they didn't keep dumbing them down every generation.

>ranged build
Is that actually a thing?

You know what I mean. Magic builds.

>The player effectively can't lose.
Just like any game.

because games are too afraid to punish players for their mistakes because they'll drop the game

Yes. Especially in 2 you could even encounter ranged builds in PvP. They were that effective. But i guess pretty much anything goes in 2.

Nah, git gut.

I would like games to have easy mode deliberately offending the player like journalist mode, idiot mode, wimp mode, loser mode etc

>journalist mode
LMAO i'd love for them to do that.

There's no game that uninstalls itself if you die.

>get hit by the boss in dark souls
>heal with 1 of 15 of your estus
