What did you guys buy on the sale so far?

I was just about to buy Persona Q2 after thinking about it for a few days only to get a notification telling me the eShop is down for maintenance. Bunch of cunts.

God Eater 3, the game's okay so far, played the whole series but am hoping bullet customization opens up again because I totally forgot how that shit worked.

I'm probably gonna buy some classic collections and Blasphemous. I already got Gris, Okami HD, and MHGU. Might buy the MMXLC1 and MMLC 1 and 2 along with Contra and Castlevania. My friend recommended me a bunch of games and I personally have no idea which to pick since I only have so much money to spend

Is that a game similar to Monster Hunter? Thinking of checking it out.

I got a bunch of collections, the three Konami ones (Arcade/Castlevania/Contra), the Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle, and Genesis Classics. I already had Namco Museum from when it was on sale a few weeks ago, and I also have a few SEGA AGES games that I bought a while ago.

only like 3 things on my wishlist got a discount. at pretty minimal ones at that, so not worth jumping on

How is the Konami and Capcom stuff? Is the emulation good?

I just picked them up and haven't tried them yet. I hear they're adequate.

For anyone who likes Contra, Blazing Chrome is half off right now. It's like a mix of Contra 3 and Hard Corps.

Is Muse Dash good?

I really want Ninja Saviors to get discounted before I get the 'rona. I bet it won't until the holidays, though. Deku Deals says it hasn't ever dropped in price.

As far as rythm games on the switch its pretty good

Is Mistover any good? The artstyle looks neat but I haven't heard anything about it since it released.

Cuphead and Unravel Two.

Dragon's Dogma, Okami, and Tales of Vesperia, I wanted to get ff12, but it's not on sale

Tales of Vesperia, not really liking it
Ys VIII, very fun combat.

It takes a while, but it gets better.

I don't usually play platformers but this is very fun, the music and sound effects are fantastic. I'm emulating it on cemu but it stutters, I hope I can find a used copy somewhere because it's so expensive

Runner3 it's really dirty cheap right now

Chucklefish has a couple games on sale. I haven't tried Timespinner yet, but I got a ton of hours out of Wargroove last year.

Nothing because I don't need to wait for sales.

Eyeing DKCTF, Astral Chain and DMC3

I bought the 4 seasons of the Walking Dead, I played the first 2 seasons years ago but I pretty much forgot what all my choices were

go for it fellow monkechad
also spoilerApecunnyspoiler

new super mario u deluxe or what ever it's called. Only problem is my nephew can't even beat the first level with nabbit. He may be challenged.

You can enable keyboard shortcuts for spoilers and other things in the site Settings.

Fuck, they never patched the final season to import save data from the previous games dude. It works for season 2 and New Frontier, but you'll have to recreate your choices in the last game with a limited flashback thing. Depending on your choices, there is at least one version of Clementine impossible to obtain in the Switch version.

>eShop
who the fuck even uses this shit?
its cheaper to import the physical games than buy in eshop sales.
>etrain untold digital
>35 fucking bongs
>30 in sale
>import eu version
>15 bong + free postage
This is why you flash your Nintendo consoles

So far I've bought MHGU, Gris, and Okami HD. I plan on buying a few more things. But I need help choosing. I know I'm definitely buying Blasphemous, but not sure on the few others. I want to get the Contra and Castlevania collections along with the Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and the two classic Mega Man LCs. I'm also considering Mario + Rabbids even tho it's just babby XCOM. Katamari Damacy Reroll looks great, maybe Dead Cells but that's still not super discounted. Anything here I should definitely get or does anyone have recommendations that I am missing? Some user recommended Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. Is that one of the Metroidvania ones? I heard 1/2 Genie Hero wasn't really one.

bought picross s4 full price

well shit I didn't know that. Goddammit.

Mega Man Z/ZX Collection
Downwell
The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa
Katamari Damacy Reroll
Tales of Vesperia

I hadn't played these games before aside from the first Mega Man Zero. From what I have played, I'm pleased with my purchases.

Yeah, Pirate's Curse has a hubworld and a bunch of areas you can search around in. I haven't played 1/2 Genie Hero though.

I rent my games...

Etrian Untold digital is like $10

Yeah, in another thread I mentioned how I found that hilarious.

Hmm... 50 dollars each for Monopoly, Risk, and Trivial Pursuit which are still only on sale here for like 20 OR 20 for Monopoly, Risk, and Trivial Pursuit on one cartridge OR even just 30 for Monopoly alone. Wonder which I'd choose if I cared?

The first three seasons are REALLY basic ports, I think the first two may actually be based on the original 2012-13 releases instead of the recently remastered versions, though I haven't compared them side by side.

If you have an alternative way to experience them I'd go for that. S1 is great. 2 is dumb fun. New Frontier is pointless. I think the final season is really fucking good, I understand some people may not dig the teen cast but it's my favorite just from the gameplay overhauls alone.
