did I fuck up ? spent 500$ on a 2070 super because I was tired of the garbage fire 1050ti I got 3 years ago slapped it in a 3700x build I got a few months ago
am I set for next gen ? I'm not waiting for 30xx if anything I'll upgrade again when 5070 or 5080ti comes out 4 -5 years from now
I'm playing at 1080p 240hz I don't care about PS5 or sex box
shut the fuck up you stupid fuck close your web browser and die
Aaron Barnes
I'm running shit rn with a 2070 on 1440p at 60 fps. Tf are you planning on doing?
Hunter Jones
Sage for whoreposting.

i made a safe space for all you e-celeb loving joggers. now you know where to tell people to fuck off to >>>boards.getgle.org/incel - internet celebrities
it depends on what games you play. at the worst you play games that could have run at 1080p 240hz on a $200 cheaper gpu, or you have to turn the graphics down a setting when trying to play new games that the 2070 Super can't run on ultra at 1080p.
tl;dr: who the fuck knows, maybe you could have bought a cheaper GPU, maybe the 2070 Super will be cheaper in 6 months, who gives a fuck at worst its a few hundred dollars wasted
Juan Fisher
>did I fuck up? >spent 500 dollars on a Super
Yes, absolutely. The 30xx series wasn't that far off and is better in every way over the 20xx. I own a 2080Ti and regret it after seeing what a massive improvement the new chipset is going to be. 20xx owners got cucked because this was just a stopgap.

You'll be fine for years to come, since you play at 240hz now you're obviously only playing CSGO or something similar anyway.
>Be slightly above average >Dress up as female video game characters >Make millions off of horny simps without even getting naked once
Was she a genius?
Colton Gutierrez
That's likevsayong the 900 series was a stop gap for the 10xx. You got a good card
Daniel Smith
she did get naked but censored them with filters
Juan Torres
2070 super is good enough for now, but in ~September we'll get cards that would've given you more performance for rougly the same money, so...
Jacob Green
2070S is more of a 1440p60 card but still fine for 1080p240, you'll probably have to compromise settings in some of the more demanding games. I would probably recommend upgrading when 4000 comes out, because 2000 will be like 5 years old at that point
Leo Sanchez
You'll need a nvme ssd too A Samsung 970 evo plus or better, preferrably
Jace Watson
fpbp. OP is a tremendous cocksucking niggerfaggot for using such a cringe reaction image. go eat shit and die OP. fuck you
Nicholas Jenkins
I'm a nudist but I censor myself with clothes.
Matthew Clark
>1080p
Pretty sure no game would remotely strain a 2070 super at that resolution. The fuck you even worried about.
She was. I wish I were a woman. Life on hard mode sucks.
Ian Adams
You would have gotten a better GPU for the same price if you would have waited for 30XX in a few months, and you would have gotten a better CPU for the same price if you would have waited for the 4700X which is only a few months away as well.
In short, you fucked up.
Jonathan Bailey
people who buy 20xx in the following months will be justed so hard when they see the price/performance ratio of the 30xx series
Lucas Powell
No I didn't. The 30xx series can actually do raytracing without cucking you, and play 4k60FPS with everything turned on at the exact same price point.
Aiden Taylor
next gen shit but at this point I'm not even convinced PS5 or sex would even hit 2060 levels of gpu perf with the power limits
Jose Barnes
all the rumors are saying that NVidia is jacking up their prices again, so who knows.
3090 which is replacing the Titan supposedly costs around $1999, 3080Ti is $1499, 3080 is $1000. You can kinda predict the rest from there
if the 3080ti is 1499$ then yeah I'm quite content sitting on my 2070 super for 499$ for the next 5 years or more and the 3070 for what 800$ ? no thanks the 3070 is slated to have the perf of a 2080 super at best
Isaac Stewart
Meanwhile I'm playing everything perfectly fine with this that I bought for $90.
nobody knows anything about the 3070 yet, but people are predicting it will be about $749 or something. Which to be fair is a good price for basically what will be a 2080Ti performance wise
Those other prices are almost definitely right though because someone from NVidia leaked that the cooler alone costs fucking $150. RTX 3000 is gonna be expensive as fuck and people need to just accept it
Benjamin Brown
>2070 super >1050ti You did not need to future proof the next 5 years.
>garbage fire 1050ti I have one and the only game I couldn't play so far was the Outer Words, but that's due to my CPU being shit, specially if you're running shit in 1080p. Stop falling for meme articles and youtubers, those people are getting paid to shill you shit you don't need.
they know they can get away with it so they will continue to do it. Until AMD puts out something equal or better to them they will continue their jew practices. And I mean equal or better, NVidia needs to be kicked in the mouth like what Ryzen did to Intel
Levi Hughes
Depends on the target framerate. You ain't hitting 240 FPS on AC Odyssey at any resolution
Nathan Cox
You probably did okay, user. The DLSS 2.0 stuff is making a lot of headway in upscaling games for minimal performance hit, so you should be okay for a decent amount of time.
