THE FACT THAT
Led Zeppelin is better
i'm.... gabe newell.
People seem to think that their popular appeal means they're not serious artists but they were actually innovative and super creative in an era of black music regurgiation (i.e. endless stream of shitty blues rock coming from The Rolling Stones).
I think Ringo Starr is cool.
i'm mad there's no hd version of the intro to this game
Game was great if overly reverent because they had pressure from the surviving members and the families, especially with what songs they used (We got way more Ringo lead songs than it should). The way Hamonix made the final Rooftop concert really tense was incredible. Especially "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" having the visuals start distorting and the sudden cut to black. Only other complaint is that it was the easiest of the Rock Band games, even compared to Lego. So you could blow through the campaign on expert pretty quickly.
The Nintendo of music
Important to the industry, but have been surpassed by many bands.
Achilles Last Stand is cool I guess, but Heavy by Iron Butterfly smokes both.
the kinks are better
Unironically fucking based bro.
>mfw 16-minute Abbey Road medley.
Fantastic game, plus the Hofner bass is the most comfortable plastic toy guitar ever built.
Shit
In the name of Peace and Love, I will now proceed to fuck you in the ass.
Never played the game, since I didn't own the instrument set or friends willing enough to buy them, but that trailer was fantastic.
Disappointed there wasn’t a minigame where you play as John and Paul and jerk off in a pitch black room together
PseudoIntellectuals
I can't wait until paul mccartney is dead so Ringo can tell everyone all the secrets they've been hiding for years.
>inb4 “Paul’s already dead”
SHE WAS JUST SEVENTEEN, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN
I'm more interested in all the occult shit they were doing. Only boomers fall for the Faul bullshit
THAT BOY
Zeppelin is overrated. They're great on radio, but suck nuts as a band in general. They are 100% a studio band. They have no flow playing together live. It fucking sucks
I'm still mad it never had a patch to change the color of the note highway. I don't know about others but that see through light blue always fucks me up.
>TFW they revealed actually had deals for Led Zepplin and Pink Floyd games on paper and the Led Zepplin one had a vertical slice but when MTV pulled funding. They had to abandon the games because they could no longer afford to develop them. Rock Band Japan failed to get out of the blocks as well as well because even though it was being developed by Q games. Focus groups didn't think they would buy the instruments because they were too big for living spaces. Also they couldn't release it in an arcade or else Konami would have sued them in an instant
It's suffering being a Rock Band fan.
They probably got up to some wacky shit but I think they were a bit more boring than people think. The reputation they have doesn’t really line up to how they speak in interviews, Paul is the only one who seems genuinely full of shit and tries to buy into the image they have while George for example was a completely normal grumpy old man near the end of his life. Compared to other bands in the 60s they probably weren’t up to anything too weird
I heard that Japanese record labels wouldn't cooperate with a gaijin game company either so RB:Japan was pretty much a doomed venture from the start.
Rock Band: Pearl Jam was supposedly going to be a thing too but they just ended up canceling it and throwing all the content out as regular DLC which is why we had a deluge of content from them for a time.

>just wanted Rock Band Blitz to be backwards compatible or a sequel on the next generation consoles with better balancing
>neither happened
It's not fair. There were times I just wanted to play with my music but not actually use an instrument. Playing Blitz with the pinball power up and zoning out was great relaxation.
They are a proof that anyone can become a rockstar if they put every second of their life into music.
True artistry
FUCK
What did he mean by this?
Fucking suck
Fucking suck
Fucking suck
Boomer """"""""""""""""Rock""""""""""""""""""" """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""music"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" is fucking awful and anyone who likes that shit should be publicly executed.
I always wonder what the fuck is going on with Lennon in that photograph.
MTV abandoning them really made the games suffer, was really noticeable during RB3 as the song DLC got progressively worse as time went on and now RB4's DLC are almost nothing but literally whos over and over except for the rare song people actually know (like we finally got Born to be Wild a few months ago).
He's being a madman
Classic
HEY JEW
John Lennon is a hack and a faggot.
It was Paul Mccartney who was the mastermind behind all of their hits.
Ringo is technically a shit drummer but his feel is GOAT.
I can see them being the most "normal" of any other artists at the time, but the symbolism and occultism they used always throws me off. I think it's probably my mind set though. I think of Crowley as a twisted man who was fucked in the head, but maybe they saw something in his works that they felt would help them in the long run. I wish I could just sit down with John Lennon and just chat shit for hours.
They have an interesting history behind them with all that Timothy Leary shit, don't really care about music in general though.
