Publishers no longer sell games on PC cheaper tho, a new AAA game is 60$ in both pc and console stores and you can compare any summer sale on i.e. Steam and PS store, they are literally the same prices

I can resell the game after playing it or lend it to friend to play, digital only is rip off scheme they’re trying very hard to mainstream but will never be fully accepted.

Now that PC is also a decently pouplar platform games are no longer cheaper on steam. Chances are, any game that happens to have a significant sale on steam also has the exact same one on console stores

except this never happens you lying shit. I do have games on steam and follow the sales, the only time a full priced game drops 50% in such a short time is when the game is a flop or so bad that noone is buying it, and then it will get the exact same discount on console stores

Digital only is bad when older consoles get stripped of their access to digital stores or the ability to redownload games. That's on top of backwards compatibility being very limited, if a console has it at all.
