the xbox event is going to show something in relation to the Fable reboot, more Hellblade, and more Halo Infinite. They'll probably show off more features of the hardware itself too. Might give more details about the backwards compatibility.

Honestly I have 300 digital games and a stack of about 100 physical games in the "Microsoft ecosystem". Most work on Xbox One (add Wet plz). Might as well just continue.

azure's never going to compete with ps now because sony bundled ps now with the ability to download games (like games pass) so you get both for one fee. MS is still looking to charge $9.99/mo for each.

Sony (as in, the main sony parent company) is pretty unstable in terms of financial footing. They split playstation off a few years back (coupled with the move to cali HQ) and they've been profitable the whole time. I'd imagine they could eat a console sold at a loss so long as it's not too steep. Most of the money comes from PS+ nowadays anyway.

It's put no pressure on them at all. The PS5 reveal was one of the blandest, most generic, and unimaginative shows ever. It started with a PS3 game for christs sake. Any of the games shown could have been on this generation and no one would have known otherwise unless you told them. All Microsoft has to do is show a console that isn't the size of a fucking caravan, and some exclusives that aren't the kind of shit sitcom characters play when they're gaming in a TV show and they would have immediately shown more initiative than Sony. It is unbelievable how anyone cares about the PS5 in any way. Every generation of console before it had at least a little something interesting about it. The only reason anyone gives a shit is because it's the new PlayStation. That's it. It doesn't have to look good, be well priced, or even have any interesting fucking games. If it's the new PlayStation you need to have it because it's new and everyone will have it! Fuck off.

the xsex is smaller AND more powerful. The ps5 needs a STAND to lay on it's side. The terrible design of the ps5 alone will have a big negative effect on it's sales.
